Blog index rate crippled

I have a very active blog that gets 500-900 uniques a day, with 5-10 new comments a day. I make a new post just about every day. Back in july and prior all new posts would be indexed literally in minutes. Since some time in July, something changed and my posts now take weeks to index. It doesn't matter how much or how little I ping/backlink these posts, they take forever to index.

Where should I start looking?

    Well, All are awe about the updation of the blog. It is nice that He gets 500-900 uniques a day. I am so curious to see his active blog. I hope that He will disclose it at this place as soon as possible.
