Hi, i have several abandoned blogs, they are not updated for 9 months now, serp is low and site is still indexed. Recently i am thinking to develop the blog and build backlinks. Do you think the serp will improve if i am to build backlinks now? Your valuable advice is appreciated

Anytime you put fresh content on your site and build quality links, it will help your serp. Remember, though, it takes time to see big results (depending on your niche, keywords, and competition, of course). Publishing a couple of new posts and building a handful of links won't be enough. After all, your competitors have been working hard on their own SEO for the past 9 months!

Go for it! Time is on your side. It should be a bit easier for SERP placement now that the domains have aged a bit. But as Nicole said, depending on your competition, you could still have your work cut out for you. At minimum, you can build them up to a point where they have some value in passing "link juice" or "link equity"

I like this idea, I have stated to do this on a few old blogs I have. I goal is to build my own link network.
