Are you using 'exact search count' in google or 'broad'?

i use MNF in "EXACT" in this keyword "make your own ringtones"
show me 22 200 search per month
but in google show me 18100 search per month

i think MNF is corrupt and we need to reinstal or create new system

When in doubt, assume the lower number is more correct.

This doesn't sound right. I have indeed experienced discrepancies between the search numbers returned by MNF and the Google's adwords keyword tool, but in EVERY instance the numbers reported by MNF have been significantly higher than the GAKT.

The explanation as I understand it is that the new GAKT reports search numbers done through Google only, where as MNF pulls its data from what used to be known as the "legacy" or "old" Google Keywords Tool External and those numbers include Google Search Partners.

There are a number of threads in this forum about the difference reported between the "new" and "old" Google Keyword Tool search volumes. The point I am making is that zaykem seems to be showing an example of MNF's results being lower than Google's and that is the exact opposite of my experience.

You guys really need to adapt your niche marketing method! If MNF is not giving correct numbers (as its probably using the old interface) then just use the new one and do manual research. You've found your preferred search volume etc. Take those keywords and throw it into MNF and just look at SOC. I know MNF is meant to be a time saver but there are ways to do research.

TBH the SOC function is way more important than how the numbers are displayed.
