What are the Steps For Getting On Page 1 of Google?

Hi guys. I've been reading some threads and supposedly it's not that difficult to get on page 1 of Google. can someone tell me what these steps are?

I'd like in on these easy steps as well!

'course if your competition follows the same steps....then what?

Seriously, there are a whole bunch of different ways that can lead
to maybe, having a chance, at page one. But there are no guarantees.

Your sites and your comp's don't exist in a vacuum.

To get on page 1 of Google is easy. Just optimize for a long tail keyword that no one else is competing for.

  No reason to be on page one for a useless term. This thread will be #1.
  
  A zillion backlinks? Please. I have sites that are #1 with only internal linking.
  Backlink insanity is problematic...
  
  BUT...
  ...thought the question was for real websites for real search terms in a
  real world search. There is no easy magic formula. Anyone that peddles
  such thing should be ignored.

Not that easy! I've been trying hard for years, and I never thought that one day my site could really get on page 1 of Google!

  I hope you are after a really competitive niche. I submit articles that make the first page. In fact, I did 5 this week that all hit the first page of Google for their keyword. So I now have 5 articles in the top 10 slots for a given keyword.

I hate how this guy gave his forum thread a stupid name, but it has attracted your guy's attention through his recklessness.

I guess I should have picked a more attractive title for my first thread: looks like I still have a lot to learn about SEO, lol.

If the keyword is a useless keyword, than it is indeed easy to get on page 1.

If the keyword has a lot of people targeting it....well, you better hope luck is on your side, because whatever you are doing, so will thousands, or tens of thousands of others!

You should rephrase the question to - "What are the steps to get a better chance to get on page 1 of Google?"

Create a super unique website, something that only you can think of it. Also with its unique title., that way when you try to search it with its title., you will see your on the top LOL!

Start on your site Title, Description, and Tags/keyword.

  There are a lot of different theories on how to get into Google's search returns but by far the simplest way to do it that I've found is to simply get a link from another site that has already been indexed by Google that Google sends it's bots to regularly.
  Of course you can also submit your site to Google to be ranked or use a search engine submission program to do it - but I find the link option works pretty well in most cases for me. It might take a few days, or even a week or so in some cases, but in most cases it works reasonably quickly.

As far as I know the only step to get on first page of google is to write a lot of articles.
That way you will gain a trust in google.
and Peoples will also link to your site due to your articles.
And you will be on top of google due to the backlinks an trust of google.
