I open this thread to ask you guys whats the difference between an adwords campaing and a Yahoo Adv. campaing .

Meaning. With the Adwords campaing i have been successful with this syntaxix:

keyword
"keyword"
[keyword]
-negative keyword
-negative keyword
-negative keyword
-negative keyword
-negative keyword
etc..

I want to expand my PPC advertising to Yahoo, i was wondering if i can use the very same keyword list i ave used on Adwords?.

The same "" & [] and -negative keywords

Or is just an Adwords feature

Thanks in advance

Yahoo and Bing have merged their PPC. You now have to use MSN Adcenter if you want to advertise on both Yahoo and Bing.

Adcenter is very similar to Adwords. Pretty much the same terminology and ways of doing things. They use the quotes around keywords to signify phrase matches and square brackets for exact matches as well as the minus sign for negatives.

Yahoo was much different in this area. Not that it matters now.

Google and Bing is too similar to each other. If you have experience with Google Adwords, you will have no problem when you want to use Microsoft Adcenter.
But i like to know is there any reason that you want to move from Adwords to Microsoft Adcenter?

you'll surely more control over your money with the system of Yahoo. It is more open and honest, and you'll pay less per click than Google's system. Google does not tell you why you pay what you pay for, but it has the additional advantage of rewarding you rank better for ad conversion.

AdWords can deliver more traffic but there is also more competition with certain keywords. I believe Yahoo! also has a higher minimum cost per click. AdWords also has the whole AdSense side which is more robust than the Yahoo! publisher network. But it's all about return on investment .

I tested Yahoo Advertising, the interface was horrible and I received a lot less clicks for my money, managing your campaigns is much more of a pain too - Google will always be a No.1 for me, although Facebook Advertising is really good but only suitable to the right audiences (e.g. I don't think many people are going to click a Facebook advert targeting ePos systems, however they might click a link about a new mobile phone that has been released?).

Don't get your ads suspended too often with Adwords.... cause they suspended my account on saturday... I don't know exactly why! That's weird.... I think Google is now officially EVIL!
