So, I had many months ago created a hubpage blog about a subject that I was personally interested in, personally went through, and has recently taken off nationwide.
Well, I just happened to check my adsense account, and saw small amounts building up in there. Since blog building and adsense aren't my focus, I was pleasantly surprised.
I determined it was coming from my hubpage blog!
So, realizing I'm onto something, I create a free sub-domain at my favorite host, upload wordpress, create a blog with not only content, but a link to a clickbank product and a couple of areas of adsense ads.
Then, I create a google alert for the topic, and each day post to blogs, comment on news articles, etc.
I'm getting traffic from it - but now my adsense income has dropped to ZERO!
ARGH!
I'll go back to creating backlinks for my MLM company now...
