Why Aren't My Posts Index By Google?

I am currently using Wordpress Sales Engine Theme and plugin and have been creating 4 posts in the last 24 hours. However, only my home page and my sales page was index but my posts are not index yet. Any idea why?

Is it because of my theme or do I just have to wait it out?

    Greetings,

    There's a thread over at another forum (green color scheme..) saying that this is happening with google at the moment - and it's affecting ablog of blogs, including people like tech crunch etc

    If it's an established blog - google should pick up the pages in minutes and have them indexed in hours, if it's new thou, would expect a few days at least (unless you can get a high powered link to the site).

    I think it happens some times in Google. I have also faced this kind of problem. I would suggest you that update content in your site and build quality backlinks. Your site will be indexed soon.

      Here are some ways to get your posts indexed quickly:

      First of all ping blog using Ping-O-Matic if you haven't.
      Then social bookmark your post using one or 2 services
      like for example Digg.com

      One more trick is to comment on a popular blog
      with a link back to your post. Popular blogs
      get visited frequently by the search engine spiders
      and will find your link and your site quickly as well
      And they'll index it.

      hope that helps

      p.s. I always get my sites indexed within a few hours
      using these techniques
