site not being indexed/crawled

Hey guys,
I could use some expert advice - but just 2 cents worth...
I set up this blog last week:
Bed Bugs B-Gone
obviously using a subdomain from my hosting provider.
I've been building some links, modifying content, created sitemaps and let google know they're there.
I've been driving traffic there, but as of this morning it has not been crawled by google... nada.
Am I missing something obvious about why it wouldn't be? My understanding is that using a subdomain like this is NOT a negative, so I feel I can't see the forest for the trees here...

Thank in advance everyone.
Jon

Try removing this from your pages:

    Code:
    <meta name="robots" content="noodp,noydir" />
It is likely a setting in one of your SEO plugins.

      woah!
Yeah, I have an seo plugin, but I didn't know that was the default!
Of course, I don't know *exactly* what that means, but I understand the gist of it.
      Thankyouverymuchmucho.

I think I changed it in my SEO plugin, and I don't see this line any more in my source... but I still don't appear to be being indexed?
        Any advice from the Warriors?

Another thing, some people say that if google indexes your site first time with affiliate links in it, google might perceive your site as low value which would harm your rankings.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Sign up with Google Webmaster Tools. Create an xml sitemap and submit it with your domain. Make sure to create a robot.txt file for your root directory. Your site will be crawled.

That isn't stopping you getting indexed, that is actually a good thing to have. It stops Google from replacing your specified meta description with a snippet from the big directories such as Yahoo and Best of the web.
