Scrape box question here

I have recently started using Scrape box and have grown quite fond of it, and pretty familiar as well. Everybody says it has thousands of features though so I guess i'm still learning.

Question here... How often can I use it to help one site?

When I use it I typically harvest around 500 to 1000 blogs(SOMETIMES LESS DEPENDING ON THE KEYWORDS OR IF I AM LOOKING FOR AUTO APPROVE BLOGS) with a 60-90% success rate. I obviously have private proxies.

Question two: Proxies count as a individual IP; so how much can one proxy take before it becomes blocked or blacklisted?

I have only had Scrape box for a week now, but it is almost addictive. I have to stop using it. every time I open it up I find a reason to blow up my site with more backlinks.

It is a sick habit, but i think I'm done for a bit now.

That is why I am asking for this little bit of help I don't want to black list IP, site, proxies or anything else associated with me.

Why dont you harvest for public IP's in scrapebox, and get them blacklisted... That's why they are there for... for you to blacklist them.

Its an included feature in scrapebox...

on the left side click "manage proxies", then "harvest proxies" then "ok" then test proxies...

Once you get a list of good proxies... blast them away.
Dont worry if you blacklist them....at least I dont.

trust me when I say " I have " But even when I think I have found a good list of public proxies, they don't have nearly as high of a success rate as my few private ones.

I suppose the private proxy and domain will be 'banned' from posting as soon as akismet or some other service logs the ip as a potential spammer, so rather than a ban it would be a dramatic reduction in success rate.

That is another feature scrape box includes. It has a tool that filters out spam protectors and captcha blogs so I don't post to them. (Very nifty)

I believe Akismet only protects the blog it is installed on too. Because I have posted to those blogs before and haven't been banned yet.

haha, yeah I love the program. And yeah I have seen some kick @ss results...more than half of the keywords i have blasted for I have seen significant improvement on. I even ended up on the first page for four of them.

Sir.....my question which I get diffrent answer from is this....When you put in a real name and your website link for the comment I understand yo ucant rank for any keyword only the link, HOWEVER since I own a blog and I see keywords used for the name I delete them since I know its spam. Are you using real names for the NAME filed or your keyword AND if your using the keyword as he the name how are you getting so many to stick?

No, you aren't supposed to use real names. That is why there is a name and email generator blogs don't care is they are real or fake, only profile sites do, but that's xrumers job.

as for your link and keyword situation, you are suppused to use this format...

      <a href="www.siteuwantoboost.com"/>{keywordvariation1|keywordvariation2|keywordvaria tion3}</a>

      simple spyntax

you rank for your keyword variations because they are the anchor text that contain your sites link.

Hmmmmm, as I stated though as a blog owner im not approving ANY keywords used in teh name filed as I know there spam. Also I dont add links within my post I try and keep it as naturaly looking as possible to get approved for the comment. I dont want to blast 3,000 blogs and end up with 5 approved comments because I looked like a spammer :p

It is a bit spammy, but it is only spam to the search engines if you force index all you blog comments quickly. And if you constantly do it daily.

You don't want to just add a site link. if your site is called Chocolate Rain and that is the only link you are posting, and it is only being posted in the website box, then you won't rank any better for any other keywords than "chocolaterain"

appearing natural to the search engines is a tough thing to do because I have posted to over 3,000 blogs in 3 days and i haven't gotten banned. Plus i've seen great results.

It is a much better idea to add keywords with anchor text than just a website link. you will draw a lot more targeted traffic and rank better.

OHHHHH... I was misreading, you have a few typos. "name field". You don't put keywords in the name field.

At least I don't, but there are many who do. and have great success with it. I'm still working on that. I'll be sure to post another thread about how i do that when i come across it.

Scrape with the public junk ones and post with your private ones

Also learn how to find high PR forum threads you can post on with your link in the signature. Nothing says value for money like a free DoFollow PR5 backlink

haha, very true. That takes practice. Still a tough thing to do.

Do you mean v bulletin or blog backlinks? v bulletin backlinks are simple, but painstakingly time consuming. blogs that are dofollow with high pr are tougher.

Well I do it this way:
            • Scraping a whole load of keywords that a relevant to my niche. Then I run the harvester with "powered by vbulliten" to scrape a huge list of forums.
            • I check the PR of all the domains and whittle it down to PR4+.
            • Then I look at the forum and scrape a list of keywords related to that forum so that scrapebox can run 30 threads at a time instead of one when scraping the forum.
            • I then use this operator: site:exampleforum.com "inurl:showthread.php"
            • Then you just have to check the URLs PR, register and post a relevant response.

It does seem a little long winded but you can do it very quickly once you get the hang of it!

I know it doesn't give you the same buzz as blasting out links automatically, but they always stick and you can get some awesome backlinks!

Those aren't blogs though. That has to be miserable creating all of those profiles then indexing them.
I mean, I occasionally scrape high pr forums and hand create profiles. and by occasionally i mean like one time in the week i have had the software. It sux doing it though.

This is actually a version of one of my comment posts

      name: jane doe
      email:blah@gmail.com
      website:www.website.com

      comment:
"Hey, I found your blog to be very unique and useful. Thanks

      <a href="{http://www.website.com|http://www.website.com/otherpage1/|http://www.website.com/otherpage/}">{reviews|scam|keyword|weight loss|supplement}</a> "

if you noticed i even used spyntax on the url i am linking to for each keyword so i don't just boost the rank of on page.

now those are random keywords, they aren't mine. i just wouldn't do that. that's unethical.

and on top of this one random spyntax post i copy and paste this into my comment poster so there about 10 keywords with anchor text and links for each post when posted on a blog.

in the end, yes use anchor text when posting a comment to a blog.

It was comments like that which caused me to take dofollow and top commentator off of one of my blogs and I almost disabled comments entirely. In 2 months I marked just over 13,000 comments as spam (by hand, not including what my spam plugin caught).

Sorry man, i am just getting my backlinks.

Alot of people frown upon my method, but alot of others love it and use it with great results.

I usually create unique content, and post by hand actually contributing a real response to the content I am posting on.

I can understand your disappointment though. I still will not apologize, because my method is just as honest a way as any other marketers way is.

Whenever I create a forum profile I simply do that. Create it index it than leave it, after i filled in my signature box with my anchor text and such.

If you have scrape box there is a link within the program that sells them. I ended up using that site because they are best priced.

This would be that link. They have a monthly charge, but it is a good service.

      http://xxx.yourprivateproxy.com/

You can also search the web for "private proxies" but there are so many ridiculous prices and scams that just give you crap. I'd go with the link i provided.

    Hi SirHarrrison

I see you are starting to see results with your SB.
I bought it for some days ago. But still not getting any results. Just a simple blog comments or just ping my articles that has not yet been indexed.
    NON in results I get.

The SB support is not good. So I am here to get support to start use my SB. I hope you are others can help me.
Right now I don't want to spent money on private proxies. I just want to start with the free ones to see how powerful this tool is and to learn how to use it.

I know how to create comments. But the first problem is to search for sites with the same niche. Should I only add some keywords and start to harvest? What should I choose, is it worpress or other services?

Right, well. you can do a myriad of things with scrape box.

      First...
watch every tutorial you can on youtube by the user scrape box I found them very helpful.
That may be just what you need.

      Second...
Make sure you are using spytax or you will get blacklisted and put on spam list very quickly.

To answer you keyword question: I only use a select few, broad keywords like...health, beauty, weight loss for my weight loss niche. But my weight loss product is a lot more niche than that.

      Finally...
Try manually posting and the blog type doesn't matter too much, but i tend to stick with wordpress type blogs. they are most popular.

      Hope this helps.

        Thanks for you answers.

Can you please tell me what spytax is?

About commenting on blogs. Do we get good results when using names instead of keywords?

Spyntax is the simple thing that scrape box uses to spin your comments to make them look more unique every time you post.
You can use spyntax on your links as well, but it is time consuming and tricky causing lots of text and very very veryyyyy long text files.

          Example:
          You would type in your "comment" txt file in your scrapebox "comment poster" folder something like this... {hello|bonjour} My name is john, I {like|really love|have a strong interest in you content here.}

and every time your comment is submitted by scrapebox it will vary the comment by one or two of your synonyms you have entered, creating a unique comment.

These "{ }" Contain your synonyms that you will be placing within your comments that are seperated by these "|" called pipes. They aren't lower case "L's" they are found above the enter key by pressing shift.

Is that a good explanation? If not i'm sure you can find one elsewhere online.

            On a separate note.

I believe this required a different post.

"About commenting on blogs. Do we get good results when using names instead of keywords?"

            What do you mean here?
            The name field?

I'm confused, if you mean replacing the name field with a keyword, don't! that's dumb and you'll get blacklisted on spam engines.

Still... Please clarify what you mean.

Yes I mean the name field.

on some post you wrote to put keywords. But some other said that this will not make so many comments approved.

Okay, that is what I thought you meant.

and, yes i had written a post about that before and never really got a clear answer about it.

There is a script you need to write in order to post a keyword in the name field, but really it is just to pack keywords. In some cases it is to gain do follow links.

Regarding the name field/keyword comment. Depends on your platform of choice really. Generally I wouldn't recommend that. You'll be smacked by various spam plugins when doing this with wordpress. BE is alright I guess.

You can always use all kinds of buffer sites to prevent your domain from being blacklisted. Or get a couple of cheap .info domains, redirect and submit them as your URL. Might help too.

abnation - what you mean is that we should use names instead of keywords, right? This will not look so spammy.

    Follow up questions:
1-Does anyone know if the "connection setup" does affect the results? Or just the speed of the work?

2- about the ping mode. I have tried to ping some articles or my site. But I didn't get any results. Is there a way to check my results? I have looked in my google analytic tool but no visits where registered.

If I get a comment (and since I use SB I can tell spam from a manual comment) that has a keyword in the name I spam it no question asked. BUT I do suggest to take comments that have names (made up or not) in the name field and remove the URl for comments. Others maybe doing this with our SB blast but it helps for comments on your blog

Ping mode is really simple. You just have to harvest a list of fresh proxies, Then determine where you want your traffic to come from and what sites/pages you want it to go to. (i most frequently use this feature for ezine articles for a boost in views)

      Here is a great tutorial:

I think 10 comments from the same IP address may be reasonable to the admin

      That's a negative ghost rider.
If you have gotten 10 comments from one of the same IP addresses you are getting raped with no protection.
      OR
If you are posting 10 from one IP you are bound to be blacklisted soon.

Start using proxies, free or paid for it doesn't matter at least you aren't posting ten comments all form the same ip.

      best of luck though.

Yes the rapid indexer is a great tool. Have you ever used a ping tool site like pinger.com or pingler? (rhetorical) It's like that but bigger.

It just blows your site/page up with pings, but instead of pings being traffic it's pings being indexing pings that will get you indexed faster and found in the search engines.

I use it for my backlink pages, not my main site. Keep that in mind otherwise you may suffer in rank.

Most likely your main site is already ranked, and the site you are commenting to is not.

When you're pinging you don't need private proxies. You can use free ones they are just as effective.
Private proxies just boost your success rate when posting comments because they are not being used by anyone else but you.

You want variety when you are pinging.

I just want to share a bit of information relating to the comments i get daily.

I receive around 80-100 comments daily. Thing is all of my comment fields are hidden, not disabled. You may ask. "Why don't you just disable them?"

I like to see what others are selling that is why.

Anyways. Evey time i take a brief look at these comments and see a few of the same "faces" posting on my site. I want to damn them to cyber hell. I report them as spam everytime, they just pop back up though.
Everytime they use a unique IP and post another comment on my site.
They are usually Russians selling some crappy a$$ car parts or some a$$ h0le selling boner pills.

    THE MESSAGE:

There is no way you can get away using the same IP adress posting more than one comment without creating unique content. YOu will get your a$$ caught quick. Make sure you use different IP than your own. Don't be that dumb.

I have actually watched it. And by pinging ezines don't work, they have blocked this feature.
SB is to complicated, there for I am leaving this software.
