Hi guys,

I have recently start submitting article to Ezinearticles.
At the moment, I have 3 articles being approve but not much visitor read them and the click on my URL is worst. (View 24 times and 2 URL clicks)

I mean is this normal or is there any strategy you guys use so more visitor will come to read my article and therefore click on my URL?

If you only wrote 3 articles that is just the beginning.

When I try to rank pages I go with:

    5 unique Articles a month
Social Bookmarks - making sure they get indexed
    Strategic Blog Commenting

Keep going at it and you will see the ball start rolling. It goes very slow at the beginning. Trust me if it was easy at the beginning everyone would be doing it. The tough beginning weeds out 90% of the people I believe! : ) Then its a fight to the top!

If you want a link here please email me!

You need to give it time. After some Google dancing I've got several sites that popped on the first page of Google for the main keyword. It took a few months.

Every month my earnings go up a little more. Yours will, too. Stick with it!

So it will still be useful to keep submitting article, do you mean that?
how many articles do you submit monthly on average?

Yes, it's very useful. I do it mainly for the backlinks. Ezine is very effective. Any link juice I get from the article is just icing on the cake.

I only submit articles when I need to. Some of my sites only have one article posted on Ezine and are sitting at the #1 position on Google. Others have required more articles, but you can only do so much if the competition is high.

Just work on getting your sites on the first page of Google and then add more articles to Ezine as needed. Occasionally add more content to the site as well. I've seen slight moves up by just adding new content.

Yes, just because links show up in the index quickly does not mean the effects are going to come right away. I've seen this too where it takes a few weeks to get the bump from recent links.

If you wanted, you could post a few of your article links and we could take a look to make sure you are doing everything correct.

It is one way to get links (and a very good way to get links). However, with a good article, you can get far more than just a link from EZA. By publishing good stuff, other people will see it and link to it themselves. Also, if people are impressed with your articles, they will see you as an expert, and they will be far more willing to click on your links and visit your site.

If you've only published 3 articles, you've barely even scratched the surface. And, if they're not getting many views, why not? Have you optimized them with good keywords? Do they have titles that make people want to click on them?

My advice to you would be to let the folks here take a look at them. We may be able to spot issues that you haven't.

The best way to see results with article marketing is to be patient and consistent. If I were you, I would publish at least 1 or 2 articles a week to get the ball rolling. With article marketing, it can take some time for your momentum to build up. However, the articles you're publishing right now will be out there forever. 6 months from now, a year from now, 5 years from now, someone can find these articles, like them, and visit your site.

  • Just give it a little time, I've submitted 3 articles and got about 30-50 views per article. I'm not even sure if I have gotten any clicks yet. But none-the-less it does provide a quality back-link.

I'd say that your numbers are pretty normal. My click through rate on Ezinearticles is around 10 percent.

Also, three articles is probably not going to your site ranked in the search engines (unless there is no competition for the keywords). You just need to keep at it. Keep publishing articles. Make sure they are high quality and publish as many as you can. It's tedious work, but it will pay off.

No time to read this entire thread but 24 views and 2 URL clicks is not poor. Well the 24 views is pretty shabby but the Click through rate is over 8% - that's pretty good albeit based on a very small sample of data. If you can increase the views and retain that kind of click through then you should be happy with that!

Its helps when you make 2 link in author bio and target different keywords for each webpage. Also do social booking for your published articles.
        {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[2976276].message }}
  • These are just my suggestions -

First you have make your headlines catchy because if you can't get your reader's attention with the headline they will never make it to the body of your content or your links in your resources box. Another thing you may want to do is make your articles easy to read by breaking your content up into steps, tips, or strategies. These are the type of articles that get the best results for me.

My secret for choosing my topics -

Find an article in your niche. It doesn't matter what it's about just pick any one. Click on it and then scroll down near the bottom of the page. Look at the section that is titled "Most Viewed eZine Articles in _____ Category" these are the articles that are getting the most traffic in your niche. You can use this to determine what you write about because from here you will know what people are interested in reading. Once you do that, then put together your article and you will see an increase in your views.

And don't forget to share the links to your article on social networks such as Twitter or Facebook. It really helps alot!

I hope this helps, good luck!
