Optimizing a website for several keywords, how?

Hi,

I am about to build a Wordpress based site and want to optimize it for about 10 different keywords. Since it is built in Wordpress I only have one <head> meta tags section... How shall I go about to get the site listed for all the keywords which are very different? I mean, all the pages in the site will be optimized for one keyword or phrase but the <head> section on each page will be the same...

How would you go about? I really would appreciate some help!

    When you want to optimize one page for multiple keywords and you can't fit all of those keywords in one page, you should concentrate on making backllinks for your page with each of th keywords you are willing to rank high for them.

      Thanks for that.. But before I start backlinking with the keyword anchor.. Don't I have to really optimize the site?

      Wouldn't you put all the keywords in you meta any how?

    I would recommend trying to break it up into a few pages, each targeting 1-3 keywords. This way you can create hyper targeted content on each page, using the keywords that are applicable.

    You can then also backlink to each page using the specific keywords as anchor text.

          Believe me, You can dominate any keyword even with out the presence of the keyword on the website, if you do the backlinking properly.

    Optimizing for 10 keywords on one page is an oxymoron. Break it up and do the backlinking to the various pages. You will be better in the long run. I don't really bother with the meta tag entry anymore, and how would you even fit 10 keywords in a title tag.
