Could Do With Some Adsense Advice

I have a number of small blogs, running on Wordpress and using the Thesis theme, all of these blogs were updated within the past four to six weeks. All are designed in pretty much the same way. I have one other blog which uses a different theme.

Today the ads on all of my blogs disappeared. I can't figure out why.

A quick Google search suggested it could be a privacy matter but I have a privacy policy on my blog. Any ideas as to what is happening. When I first noticed the disappearance I thought it was due to Google's advertised maintenance but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Any ideas on what is going on.

Here's one of the sites, it's my clubs site but it illistrates my point. ABC Writers Network are any of you guys seeing ads? There should be a large rectangle ad just below the Google search and above the Amazon ads

Any help appreciated

Thanks guys. Contacted a friend and he confirms they are showing must have inadvertently put a block on them - any ideas where to find the block.

They are showing from my side. Maybe there is an ad blocking script on your web browser?

Any idea where I might find it. I use Firefox for any WP work, and I can't see the ads in either Firefox or IE - and that applies to all by blogs!

That's where they should be - if only I could see them.

A friend suggested that I turn off the modem overnight and get a new IP address, and that I log into my router and release the IP address. Not to sure how to do this. My service provider is Freedom2Surf (UK) and my wireless router is a Netgear DG824M.

Again with the help of my friend I went to cmd.exe and typed
      ipconfig /flushdns
      then
      ipconfig /registerdns

It came up with the message: Registration of the DNS resource records for all adapters of this computer has been initiated. Any errors will be reported in the Event Viewer in 15 minutes.

      C:\Windows\system32>

I've went to the event viewer but to be honest I wouldn't recognize the fault if I saw it! Both my friend and I are really only groping in the dark. Any suggestions as to what might be happening.

I have checked that there is no ad blocker in Firefox

As always many thanks for help offered.

Did you try to check if you had the same problem when you used a different browser i.e. IE, FF, Opera etc. Sometimes it also could be due to a modem fault. I encountered a problem years back when I could not view some images on a webpage. I called the service provider's technician and he found out the modem was faulty and replaced it. It may be a longshot but the technician could help.

You could be on to something there Peter. Over the past week my connection has been giving me a hell of a bother, the connection dropping without any reason. I'm expecting a visitor today who is into computers and I have a BT Home Hub in the house, maybe he will give me a hand to install it and we'll see what happens.

By the way I was looking at your signature and when I clicked on 'How My Adsense Income Increased By 70 Ptc' it took me to your site, however, when I was there for a few seconds a new window tab opened with an 'Unable To Connect' message it displayed the following URL You must disable or remove Adblock to visit this website. This is happening in both IE and Firefox.

Maybe that's my problem. If it is how do I fix?

Many thanks to all who replied. After much searching and trial and error finally discovered that the problem lay in the Host file; reset it to default and every thing is working fine.

    Again many thanks
