When you are building your adsense sites, do you use multiple IP addresses or are you hosting on a single IP???

I ask this question so that it provokes a long thread of people who are smart enough to realize the good and bad points. The positives and negatives. I hope that all opinions will e backed up with some type knowledge and not just a thought like some post.

No, you don't need to do this.

Google can easily group your sites together when you use their products (Adsense, Adwords, Analytics, Webmaster Tools, etc) with your sites. Even people outside of Google can use various tools to find your sites based on these IDs. The IP addresses are the least of your worries if you're doing something that violates TOS.

It is a good idea, however, to diversify your hosting if you have a lot of sites. By using multiple hosting companies you can avoid problems such as a host going down or becoming unreliable, changing policies/pricing, going out of business or anything else like that.

It makes no sense to try & hide your Adsense sites from Google.

You ever wander what that pub-ID was for?
