    Don't worry so much about your PR and spend more time worrying about building more high PR links. The juice will flow and the PR will sort itself out. It's going to take just as long with you worrying than about it than if you don't, so my vote is to spend your energy on other things.

    Google Page Rank updates dynamically. But that is not a 1 to 10 figure and they don't show you it.

    What you actually mean is tool bar page rank. I would not be suprised if updates are dead to try and stop users shaping their backinks.

    The PR updates really mean nothing unless you are trying to sell your site. Or make money by selling links.

    Your PR is updated everyday it is just Google doesn't let the public know about it.

    As everyone has said, just build quality PR links, and naturally the PR will go up.

      I am new here but thought I would throw in my two cents. While I agree that we should focus on things other than pagerank, it is frustrating that to get accepted to some large affiliate programs, you must have a certain amount of pagerank. Doesn't matter that I get traffic.

      It's frustrating because its not like we have any control over when toolbar pagerank updates. Wish the whole pagerank obsession would go away so people could start focusing on quality rather than manipulated metrics.
