Adwords alternative for PPC

Hi there, this is my first post here but i'm hoping that someone with a more comprehensive knowledge of PPC can help...

I've always stuck exclusively with Google adwords, mainly because my campaigns have always done really well for me and I'm not the sort of person to fix what isn't broken.

The problem is one of my sites. This site sells software that is used to predict horse racing results, so far all the traffic has been from SEO, Articles and Ad Swaps. I've decided to expand into PPC for it, the problem is that google won't accept it without a gambling license - which isn't an option because my site has no connection to actually placing bets in any way shape or form.

So my question is, what is my best alternative for site such as this? Ideally I'd like somewhere that offers PPC banner ads but text is fine as well. Since this is a new campaign, I'm not looking to spend a fortune until I know what I'm doing works, so anywhere that requires a deposit of more than £100 is pretty much out.

Any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated!

Go back and check the rules carefully, what they state is you can not promote gambling / wagering on adwords, but this does not include people who offer a tipping service, you will find that is OK because people are not wagering money, they are buying a tipping service or a tip generator.

Only if you were accepting money to wager on the bet itself and giving out ods would you be required to have a license.

Go into adwords and type in horse racing tips, or horse racing selections and see how many ads are running.

From there send google an outline of your product / and what it does if they are unsure to have it pass the ruling and you should be fine.

That used to be true, but not any more. Type in horse racing tips and there are NO sponsored ads that I can see.

My experience isn't just from reading the rules, I've tried to post several text and image adds, all of which have been denied on the grounds of not having a gambling license. I've appealed, I even managed to get a real person on the phone - the answer was still no.

@socialbookmark - It is related to gambling, I essentially sell a product that shows people how to make money from betting on horse racing.

Its not true at all. Google accepts any kind of ads except adult and gambling ads. If you want to advertise something which has not related to adult and gambling contents, you can do it using Adwords.
Also if you still are looking for adwords alternatives, you can try Adbrite or Bidvertiser too.

Anything related to gambling is prohibited. Adwords casinos and gambling rules.

    Of note in that rule:

    * gambling-related tutoring and educational materials such as books and e-books
    * gambling software
    * tips, odds, handicapping, and sports picks

which covers your software based on your description. Predicting horse races is handicapping.

Sorry to say you'll never be allowed to advertise this product using Adwords. I'd delete everything related to it in case you create other software later. You don't want to be banned.

I get that I can't use adwords, i'm over it. What i'm trying to find out is if anyone could recommend a PPC provider that offers quality, keyword targeted traffic. Pretty much all of the reviews from everything I've looked at say how terrible they are - google can't be the only source of decent PPC traffic can it?
