Is it worth it to build multiple hubs pointing to just one of your sites? Since you already have one backlink from Hubpages from your first hub, what is the benefit of creating more hubs? Isn't one backlink on Hubpages the same as 20 backlinks on the same site?:confused:

    Hey Jennifer,

hubpages have multiple functions and you can
just link to one capture page, blog, or some other
kind of squeeze page to get people opt in to your
list, but you can also hyper link to other posts
    and articles from other sites.

You want to create 1 hub per keyword and optimize
    this all the way down..

For instance: Create a hubpage, ezine, blogger,
squidoo, goarticles, articlebase.. for the keyword:
    Mlm business opportunity etc..

It´s more likely that your keyword will be found
in the search engines by plastering the whole net
    with your content.

Doing proper syndication and additional strategies,
    is also a must..

    Keep going,

    Gerald

You can find better backlinks then hubpages. Try Angelas backlink packet or do a search online for .gov or .edu websites you can leave a comment on.

I still create a hub every now and then but its just mostly cause I like to and its fun

Every next link from the same site has much less weight. I think seomoz or someone else even did some serious testing about this.

It's better to link to different sites or at least different pages of your site.

If I understand you correctly, that one backlink will be worthwhile, however, the benefit of creating more hubs would be the increase in potential traffic gained from using a high PR Web 2.0 property to suck in traffic from the search engines and direct them to your site. Just remember, if your hubber score falls below 75, I believe it is, your do-follow links will revert to no-follow....thus loosing most of their search engine benefit.

How do you earn score? What can make it go down?
I dunno anything about this so any advice and tactics about score would be great!

One point you must consider is you score you must improve your profile score for you to be known in the community, and in order to get this you must have more hubs, the more hubs the better if you used Hubpages in you linkbuilding campaign.

Lol, where did you get this figure from?

Multiple links from Hubpages will definitely help you.

Multiple links from the same domain don't carry as much weight as multiple links from different domains given everything else is equal.

That said, I'd much rather 10 contextual backlinks from unique Hubpages content than 10 spamier links
