Getting Lots of Backlinks in a Short Amount of Time?

I have been doing some backlinks building for a while to trying to help with my GR to finally get out of that 0 score, but the problem is, every time I build my backlinks, they will always drop out automatically and the number of backlinks will decrease back down to near where I started.

Now the thing I'm surprised by is, I see sites that are only a month old, but they already have over a 1000 links.

My site is over 2 years old, yet I barely have 400 backslinks.

I'm mostly just do article marketing and blog commenting, but as said before, my backlinks would go up then come back down again.

How do people accomplish this?

Are there some sorts of softwares or programs that do this that I'm not aware of?

What are the fastest way to build large amount of backlinks in a short amount of time?

Careful getting to many backlinks to fast will get you banned from Google. The best way to get high quailty backlinks is to create high quailty CONTENT that people will what to syndicated and link to.

This is simply not true in 99% of the cases, and it is starting to drive me a bit crazy hearing everyone say this.

If I was at the #8 spot in Google for a keyword, what would stop me from pointing links to the top 7 sites and getting them all banned if it were this easy?

Everyone will argue and Im sure there will be a hoopla here as I say this, but the fact is it is very different for Google to slap you for off site SEO....

      Possible? Yes.

      Common? No.

If you think about this bizarre assertion for a moment, you'll see that it can't possibly be true: if it were so, then all that anyone would have to do, in order to get all their competitors' sites "banned from Google" would be to run some sort of backlink-spamming software on their main url. It doesn't actually stand up to examination at all, does it?

Just one of those ever-present "urban myths of internet marketing", I'm afraid. But congratulations on reaching your 500th post, anyway.

I've finally seen a theory more ridiculous than the duplicate content myth. The quoted statement is absolute bollocks.

That's not true. If getting too many backlinks could get you banned from Google you could get your competitor's sites banned very easily.

You are constantly losing backlinks because you are relying on things such as blog commenting, which is not stable and has you leaning far too heavily on the whims of each webmaster.

You need to find valuable and consistent backlinks and start working in some new strategies.

Is your last name hornung? I get confused, sorry.

    - Fastest way to build a lot of links is by Articles. Article marketing robot is one service I use(gets you around 100 plus backlinks per article). Google shows them but Yahoo won't. Ten articles via AMR will get you a PR increase.

Unique article wizard is also good although I haven't tried it.

    - Google won't ban you if you build a lot of links in a short amount of time. Google won't care about the no. of links you build. More no. of backlinks will help you rank faster and higher. Although lots of links will definitely make you dance the Google dance faster.

The Google dance is what most marketers perceive as Sandbox or Google banning you. During the dance, your site jumps from page 1- page11 - page 50 - no index at all. And then give it a month, you are on page 1.

Stop listening to these myths. YOU CAN BUILD MILLIONS OF LINKS TO YOUR SITE AND NOT BE BANNED.

BUT... YOU CAN GET YOURSELF TO LOSE YOUR RANKING BY LINKING TO A SITE THAT VIOLATES Google TOS(Sites that do cloaking, sell text link ads).

I've seen sites with PR6+ that sold text links. The next month they were totally out of Google's index.

Careful, Google monitor such stuff. Google plays by the rule, "The webmaster doesn't control his incoming links. But he controls his out going links.

your best bet for backlinks that will stick is to hire a professional team of backlink experts that will create backlinks for you full time and use anchor text to make them count for specific keywords. I use Odesk a lot and Backlinkteam as they are they easiest to use and have always provided great results. Odesk is perfect if you understand proper SEO Techniques and can manage your offshore workers. Backlinkteam is better if you want someone else to manage your project using off-shore workers. I have found backlink team is only about 15% more expensive than using Odesk but you save tons of time not having to manage the team. Hope that helps.

First off, each network counts links different.

On my site, Yahoo gives me 251k.

Google Webmaster Tools gives me 55k.

    Google public gives me 330.

Google will not show but a slice of actual back links in the public side of things.

New pages are given an early boost by Google, because they are new. But within days, new pages are re-examined to see if they carry any link popularity. If the new pages cannot go forward with link popularity, then they will lose the boost they offered.

Exactly. Depending on what tool you're looking at to see them, you're going to see different amounts.

However, I also agree with the poster who said you're putting too much stock in blog comments. With those, you never know if they're going to be approved or not. You can go to all the trouble of finding a quality blog, reading a post, and making an insightful comment - only to have it deleted because the moderator doesn't allow links in comments (no matter how great the comment is).

If you've got a couple of good blogs to comment on, stick with it. But also start taking advantage of some other marketing opportunities. If you like blogs so much, do some guest blogging. That will get you some valuable links and (hopefully!) more traffic.

blog commenting on high PR sites, articles and guest posts on other blogs.

That will help initially but it is a lot of hard work and effert to do this.

what do you call a short amount of time. Some marketers will say 2 months, others might say a year.....depends on your goals I guess.

        True-ish.

The ones that are "authority sites" carry greater weight with Google because they're "authority sites". It's true that a lot of .gov and .edu sites are "authority sites". There are also a lot (especially .edu) that aren't "authority sites" at all.

It's not actually the fact that they're .gov/.edu that makes them carry greater weight with Google. It's just not quite as simple as that.

Call me pedantic, but I'm just saying.

But are you sure, Alexa? That seems a bit too sensical.

Rumour has it that Matt Cutts is a Russian spy ... and when I was watching his videos the other week (with popcorn and soda, of course), I swear he used a jedi-mind trick agsinst me whilst feeding me false, contradictory information ... and he told me to kill my pet dog.

Ever since then, I can't even be sure of my real name or anything.

Typical Western, capitalist-lickspittle, rumour-mongering, bourgeoise, decadent, crypto-fascist misinformation, here: I have it on very good authority that he's from Belarus, the last remaining Great Dictatorship of Northern Europe. It must be true: I read it in an internet forum.

          Pedantic!!!

Alexa hit the central core issue here.

.gov and .edu carry more weight when they have the weight of "authority", but the extension on its own means nothing if the individual website has no authority.

Here's my view from. Competitors can blast sites with links to drop them if this were the case. You gotta be google bombing for google to really drop you. For the average person, I don't think you could build it fast enough for it to happen. As mentioned before, Google will not find all your links at once.

If your site is new then don't go opting linkbuilding blasts. Yes there are many softwares for creating large number of backlinks but as I said earlier that your new site will be penalized by Google for such activity.

On the other hand if your site is old like 2-3 years and it has a lot of pages indexed in Google then you can go for large scale linkbuilding plan. But I will suggest you to first set a trend for linkbuilding like initially build links in 100s then move to 1000s, it will save your site from being penalized. Your site is old, this statement will not assure you that Google will not penalize it on such linkbuilding efforts, still there are chances for that.

Well if you are good at linkbuilding then you don't need 1000s of backlinks for your site which indeed add very less value to your site. But if you go for quality backlinks with high PR then it will help your site a lot. Profile links/Directory submission/Social bookmarking techniques can be used along with high PR linkbuilding to give a natural look to your linkbuilding effort.

    Thanks,

    ZA Lodhi

I thought it is not how many links you create, but the speed they are created! If you have a new site, and suddenly in the first week you have 100 links on your site, that is too fast. Each day, creating up to 30 links is best! This is what I heard was the best way to do it. Also getting links from a lot of different sources, not just blogs.

you know, i always believed that but i had backlinkteam create about 20K backlinks for the site in my SIG and it got ranked on tons of keywords, first page in two weeks... The day my URL Actually got indexed i was already showing up in the serps... Obviously by now i would have been sandboxed but i have been moving up in the serps ever since. I know theu use a lot of link variation and did mostly blog and forum commenting with lots of social bookmarkong and SIG Links. They also had about 20 people on my project for those two weeks all of which are awesome SEO Experts anyway. Cant go wrong with a big team like that. Or, maybe i just got lucky lol.

Truth is, you really can get ban/sandbox what ever you guys want to call it but once you get out of the sandbox your site will rank high in the serps if you build a decent amount of backlinks and get all of them index. i am a living proof guys. building 10 links a day is worthless if you are not getting those links index. i only go after pr 2+ links. anything below i Rss feed to get them index.

Getting loads of backlinks in a short amount of time is great... as long as you can keep up the process!

Create a monthly plan and build a similar number of high-quality links each month to harness the power of mass linking without penalization.

This will allow you to go for some high-competition keywords!!
