How about buying traffic?

Hi All,

I have found some traffic selling sites which sell very cheap traffics: less than $5/10,000 visitors.

And I think that I can make much more than 5$ with 10,000 visitors.

What's your opinion? Should I spend some money to buy traffic and earn more money back?

Those traffic has been sold 100 times... do you expect these recipients are still interested to visit your site if they are receiving 100+ of spam from this service provider?

You just wasting your money with fake traffic..

    One word: DON'T!

These sites will NEVER send you any traffic that will convert. Its either recycled, bots or just some other random "un-targeted" list that visits your site.

Save that money and buy yourself a beer, saves you a lot of trouble

There are quick and easy outs when it comes to marketing, but at least the Web offers you the best opportunities. SEO is the cheapest form of marketing online, but I also recommend evaluating affiliate programs, social media optimization and email marketing as low-cost tactics for generating traffic. If you must go down the link-buying route, I recommend Link Vana.
      Hi youbetcha1018,

I agree with most that you say in this post, but I have part with you on link buying. Buying links on websites that send high quality relevant traffic is certainly not blackhat and will not get you blacklisted. Wherever did you get this idea?

Buying links on high quality, high traffic websites is one of the best ways to get traffic. It's pure whitehat and practiced by most reputable high traffic websites.

The only thing I've ever heard of being discouraged is the selling of links for the purpose of passing Pagerank. Google does not sell Pagerank and they don't want it bought and sold by others. Selling links for traffic is a completely different matter and Google not only endorses it, they are one of the biggest players in that business model.

The traffic business is riddled with junk traffic and sometimes just outright fraud. This stuff typically comes from bots, pop-over/under, spyware or paid to surf sites... hardly what anyone could consider targeted traffic. Worse yet businesses that open up there network to outsiders for a cut of the action have issues with click fraud.

If you are working the sporting goods or electronics markets I have a couple openings available at a flat 20 cents a click for quality traffic and zero click fraud.

I have tried some of them. It was a waste of money. I believe there are no shortcuts. You just have to be patient.

      Hi danto2,

Actually there are shortcuts, but they are not usually cheap and rarely free. If you are willing to spend a little you can definitely skip being "patient" and accomplish great things rather quickly.

You not going to be able to buy quality traffic for a super cheap price unless someone is doing you a big favor. That would be like handing you cash out of their pocket.

As has been written above - don't bother.

It's a waste of money - use the $5 to go buy yourself a beer

There are legitimate means of buying traffic. The trick is to buy keyword targeted traffic from a source that can actually deliver it.

The company I represent is actually a search engine and the traffic we offer is the same exact kind of website visitor you would get from a PPC campaign with Google, Yahoo etc.

We sell traffic for pennies on the dollar of what Google, for instance, would charge but then we're not Google. We can't deliver the traffic in a torrent like they can.

My point is that you shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. There are a lot of rip off traffic schemes out there but there are also some very inexpensive and effective means of buying good traffic. Just do your due diligence.

Buying traffic is useless traffic which will not convert to sales. What any sites really need is genuine traffic such as search engine traffic. So I think buying traffic is waster of money and time.

      Hi Victor,

We better let Google know that their business model will surely fail, since nobody will be buying traffic from them, they wll have no revenue and will have to shut down.

Plus, all those companies that make so much money from the AdWords traffic they buy, should stop right away since their profits must simply be a fluke.

Wow, glad you came along and saved us all from such a big mistake we've been making buying all that traffic from AdWords.

Really DON'T do it, you will be wasting your time and money most of them are scams.
I have seen several case studies
When tracking the traffic, it comes in bulk at different times of the day the so called (visitors) only stay on the site for 0.1 of a second.

The traffic is from robot and not really people.
How ever this is not all ways the case,
Remember you only get what you pay for,
    You have been warned.

Hi l have been in the traffic supply game for years, this might help you decide
Their are many types of traffic from bots to targeted expired domain traffic
we sell from low grade worldwide pop unders, not banner impressions or emails,(which helps get your alexa ratings up ) people still your site, but not targeted to the very best top quality expired fully targeted traffic to you ninch. It all depends on what you are happy to pay for your results, l always recommend fully targeted expired domain redirect traffic, as this is very highly targeted to your site with wonderfull results
Its the old story you only get what you pay for

    Hope the above helps

These sites are usually scripts which generate false impressions and you cannot expect any conversion from such traffic. If we can receive 10,000 visitors with just 5$ then every one should go for these options rather than spending time on SEO.

I just watched a video by Mike F. (Internet Guru) who has teamed up
with some Australian guy (Peter?) who only deals with buying traffic.
As usual it sounds great and Mike F. is a Guru, so I was thinking of
buying the course but I've never read anything good about buying
      traffic.

I've actually never bought anything from Mike F. either, he seems
a little too smooth in his sales pitch. Its for Traffic Crusher.com

      Anyone bought this yet?

If you want to buy traffic - buy it from Google Adwords.

You are better off learning how to generate it for free first.

Then once you have established this - you can supplement your free traffic with paid traffic.
