Will I get in trouble with Google for using UAW?

If you don't want to get in trouble with Google, do nothing.

If you want to use article marketing, you are okay.

If you want to use UAW, you can do so.

If you do get in trouble with Google for that, they will just ignore your links.

If you get banned in Google, you can still make money using any of more than 3-dozen traffic techniques that do not rely on Google.

p.s. I have used article marketing to build traffic and rankings to my sites since 2000. I still get loads of free traffic from Google.

I dont know about that. If google is your concern then id say dont do it. Think of your long term. Google will probably crack down on these types of services if they are not already. Focus on quality and try to put quantity out of ur mind.

take the money u have for UAW and get yourself a part-time VA and have that person write up your articles. Here is a great post about why you should outsource, how you should outsource and 5 lesser known places to outsource: Unique Content Creation | Aizaku

After u get ur VA, focus on ezine hubs buzzle etc,, build up your author ranking for each directory. create informative targeted articles for your niches with the keyword in your anchor backlink. Other webmasters will repost your material - hopefully with high PR. set google alters to let u know who is reposting. contact them, offer them original content in exchange for do follow backlinks, form partnerships. nice safe and natural.

Unique Article Wizard. It is an article spinner.

Funny thing is that I don't use article spinners.

I write and syndicate my content. I would rather have a hand-crafted presentation in all of my articles. For me, article marketing is about the reader first, conversion second, and seo third.

Yet, people swear by the power of article spinning. I will never know.

My wife chews up my food before she gives it to me. That makes the food much more tasty.

LOL Just teasing you...

I am not going to criticize YOU for using an article spinner software.

But I write well enough that I can construct all of my own articles from scratch with a complete and total focus on the reader, and I know how to SEO my articles that most of my "syndicated articles" will outperform most spun articles.

I will never use an article spinner. But my way isn't the right way for everyone.

I have put down titles for four different articles that I want to write today. Hope to do 300 words each and submit them to EzineArticles and see if I can pick up the ranks.

I will try to write without looking at any content, just what I know about. I might not know much about internet business, but I surely know about cars.

So now, let's say I will have my own articles and I want to submit them to 10 directories on regular basis, wouldn't those directories require unique content?
Or can I use the same article and submit it manually to a number of websites?

Also, what is VA? I did my search.

Article directories DO NOT REQUIRE unique content.

EzineArticles does require that you are the author and the article is not available elsewhere with someone elses name on it.

Submitting the same article to multiple places is called Article Syndication. Not only is it acceptable, it has been done since the beginning of time. I have an entire business built around that model.

VA is Virtual Assistant, i.e. a helper who does not work in your office, but over the Internet.

What I do with unique article wizard is allow them to autopost on my wordpress blog using one pluggin I installed and it has worked pretty much for me cos I believe they send me quality articles which is for me very acceptable. The only issue is that I see copies of the same articles on my blog on other websites google. Besides this, I think they are great....FROM A PUBLISHER'S RESPECTIVE

I read a post here that Google has banned someones websites because he was receiving UAW articles.

Do you need to do any tricks to secure your website? maybe not install Analytic and Webmaster codes?

I have activated receiving UAW on my email to see what is it about. I think I received +300 articles in one day. I've been scanning over, and they don't look bad, but some of the resource boxes are just ridicules.

U can outsource (VAs) from odesk, freelancer, and some other places like Best Jobs Manila Craigslist ... i explained the process in the link i provided in my last post.

outsourcing is a really powerful tool for internet marketing.

I thought of using those services, but came to my senses quickly. Anything that makes you ask the question "Is google going to ban me for....." Stay away from.

I agree with jacksonlin that it is perfect legitimate source for articles. But it is getting abused by IMs. I have been in this for about 13 years, every time anybody abuses anything in some way it will be policed. Google will find it.

UAW leaves a footprint, it would take the Web Spam team at G a few minutes to find all the pages and apply a filter to those sites.

Actually, it's benefit for you to have UAW article on your site...

People start building free backlinks to your site...

You are only looking at one small side of UAW...

Most people are talking about submitting side of UAW

you are talking about receiving side...

If anyone has any doubt about effectiveness of UAW, just go to my signature read 100's testimonials...

I suggest getting Article Marketing Robot and then not spinning your articles at all. For me UAW was a waste of money, time and effort. IME you don't want to spin unless you are putting it on a Web 2.0 blog that you want to rank. Heck you can even give these directories PLR articles, they will just reject it if they already have it.

What looks better to Google 100 synonym spun articles that take 1 hour of time to write and submit into UAW. That you don't even get the URL where your link appears so you can't do anything specifically to get you link indexed.

or

Submitting the same article across many sites, which is what most big media websites end up doing. They don't change the text so that they can try to get their article to rank multiple times. Truth is 99% of your articles will never be read or seen. They are just a backlink.

Thanks everyone for the input. I wrote a 500 words article related to cars and manually submitted it to around 20 websites. It was on google by the next day and where some websites show views, I can see 10 to 200 views, and some retweets too.

So far UAW submitted a different article for a different website to 200 websites and I see less of 5 websites showing it on Google.

I will start making a habit of writing my own articles and submitting manually. It literally took me five minutes to write it, I was amazed that the word count was close to 500 after five minutes. I am not expert in English or writing, but I hope the info is good. I have made a list of around 40 websites.

  oh not really lol, the article was about cars, I just wrote from experience and no intention of SEO writing and such. I am even embarrassed to show it here.

First of all, let's recognize that indeed there is risk involved. And the type of risk.

UAW is a service that implies the exchange of money in return for links. It is an effort to manipulate the search results. More so, it is a paid effort, the one that Google hates most.

That being said, I've used UAW in the past.

The question is this. What risk level are you willing to accept? If you have one site that you're working on and this is your long term project, I would not do it. On the other hand if you have 10 affiliate sites you can be more flexible risk wise.

As for safer ways to do seo:

have great content on your site - you will get backlinks organically
do guest blogging
hunt down the sites in your niche that need content
use the content on web 2.0 properties
be active on popular sites that have strong profile rankings
comment on relevant blogs in your niche
be active in the forums in your niche and use a signature

Thanks for the post Alex. Well, my previous post shows that my manual effort resulted in more indexed articles from 20 submissions compared to 200 by UAW. So, not sure it's really worth it, apart from the risk.
