I'm really new to SEO so bare with me please, so basically

[Tags i put on my blog post] + (Back links) = High page rank for that tag name?

Best way to get backlinks? I went on about 100 wordpress blogged, commented on the post and put my link under website. Isn't that a backlink? If so how long does it take for google to crawl and register it?

Any other important tips about seo?

    Regarding you commenting on blogs, that is indeed a backlink. Only, you are wasting so much of time. Get "Scrapebox" or something similar to automate the whole process.

    "Page rank" is just that a rank for one of your pages. So not related to tags or whatnot.

    Saleese, also add how many time since the post on other blogs, nofollow tag on blogs that you posted, and if search engine read the page in these other blogs...

    look for dofollow blogs.. i think this will solve ur problem. only in dofollow blogs backlinks are considered.. so avoid no follow n focus on do follow blogs.
