I use Market Samurai, but it depends on your situation. MS is a great value, but you can get by with just using the free Google Keyword tool if you are in need of a free solution.

Hi Mary_Jane,

I agree with some here, for free you probably can't go past the Google keyword tool, but if you are looking for a more comprehensive tool and are willing to pay for this investment then Market Samurai is excellent, provides a lot more information than just keywords.

another one I use is "Micro Niche finder" also provides a lot of info up and above just keywords.

  For me Market Samurai and Google Adword keyword tool both give great results for all the requirements.
  
  I would slightly edge Market Samurai over G Keyword Tool as I feel MS is little more accurate, just my opinion may be others differ.

market samurai is the complete solution

however, brad callen's new software "keyword finder" is a great alternative as well

it leaves out all the complicity from other software

simply enter keyword, and click start, and it will returns a list of keywords that you are going to profit

I would definitely weigh in for Market Samurai. It has saved me a ton of time and is more than just a Keyword Research Tool. I consider it to be a comprehensive market analysis tool. You can do your keyword research, check out your competition, write your blog posts, find products to promote, find backlinks, and a bunch of other stuff.

Highly recommended.

I love semrush. I can see pretty real numbers on SE traffic of my competitors. It tells me what words I'm missing and what my compeitors are doing. I join for one month a year and download reports of all my compeitors.

Market Samurai is by far the best public tool I've ever used and I've bought them all. The thing is that Market Samurai is still in beta and gets increasing better than its competitors every update.

Keyword Elite is definitely the perfect software program that will make the keyword research job easier and faster.Keyword Elite is not some kind of magic software that's going to transform your business. I use Market Samurai, though I'll still occassionally use the Google Keyword Tool directly if I feel the need to check something quickly while I'm on the road (from my iPhone), or at my day job.

The best low cost or free one is Market Samarai. There is another pricy one which is Keyword Dissection but it has a bunch of other features with it and I don't think it is available to the public.

There really ain't no software. There is web based applications such as Google External Keyword tool. It's real data from the AdWords search results. I would recommend that if any tool.

If you are just starting out then Market Samurai. If you are a going to market using content writing. If you are going to use PPC then I would consider Keyword Elite.
