Hi Warriors,

Is it okay in Google's eyes to re-direct your site directly to an affiliate link?

Say I had a site in SERP 1 on Google for a keyword getting lots of traffic, would it be 'legal' to send that traffic directly to an affiliate site?

    You can do it but all of the value of your website will be juiced to that affiliate link. I don't suggest it at all.

      That's what I though, just my site is built basically around promoting an affiliate product and I thought 'why not cut out the middle man?' but if it affects ranking then there's literally no point to it as it would be self-defeating.

        Overtime, the PR and ranking are lost. No matter. Affiliate sites are
        not normally loved by google.

        You are better off keeping the site intact, interlinking to the affiliate.
