Hey Warriors,

I have recently been playing around with the Microsoft Commercial Intent tool, and am curious to hear the thoughts that you have about how accurate it is?

It is a very interesting tool, although I wish I knew what considerations go into it's decision making logic / process...

Anyway, thanks for your time / would like to hear your thoughts.

    Hi Randall,

I'd never even heard of the tool until I read your post. I had a little play with it but I wasn't really that impressed I thought it would be more like the adwords tool and gave you a sample of related keywords with a buyer intent score colum.

The other thing that comes to mind is do we really need a tool to tell us if a keyword phrase has buying potential, it's kinda obvious for most people.

I did like the clickable links in the video player tool though.

I really like the tool. Although it is not perfect but it does help you filter out which keywords are more commercial in nature which can save you alot of time and money in promoting the wrong keywords.

I've found that it usually gives a good indication although anything in the middle (35%-65%) could go either way its not a bad idea to filter by the extreme values.
