can someone help me with this as i am trying to promote my blog on blogspot, i have done a few blog comments and tried to get google to index it through there indexing page but its just not being indexed, when i search for my blog on google with site:url nothing appears, weird since its blogspot

secondly if there is a blog with a PR9 but a blog post which i then can make a comment on has a PR1, is it the PR1 that counts or the PR9

Thanks

The reputation of the blog homepage is PR9 which means google gives more importance to your link then. You will get a good boost if you did so.

PR travels through 'follow' links from the PAGE the link is on, not the domain.

So if they website isn't nofollow then you'll be getting a PR1 link.

Submit the RSS field url of your blog to the top RSS aggregators, that will get it indexed fast. Submit to RSS feed Directory - Feedage.com and FeedAgg.com | The Best Blogs and RSS Feeds on the Web | RSS Directory

The PR1 counts, but it also helps that the blog has a PR9.

Just keep on building links to your website, the PR1 counts.

"nofollow" has nothing to do with indexing. It only does not pass PR juice.

The PR of a page does not compute 1-1 for PR passing.

Some pages will not pass PR even when not using nofollow links.
And google recognizes authority. No doubt that has a little to do
      with PR.

Google does not need help indexing sites. If it did, then simply
submitting your site to google would do it. But we all know that's
completely useless. So, why would a 3rd party have better success
with anything remotely related to getting google to index it?

If your site is on the web, it will be found. But, google does not have
to index it or like it.

      Blog comments are getting devalued.
      (yes I still use them)

Start building your own empire of sites. Getting others to link to
you takes time, but well worth it.

If you choose to put your blogspot in the directory, then google already
      knows about it.

Google gives PR each of the link of a domain. That is why that blog is PR9 but the post where you commented that is PR1. For instance: facebook.com/home.php PR10 but apps.facebook.com/***** will get the different PR. I think you got the point.
