Best Source of Traffic

This could be a range of things.

The key here is to target the niche and make sure your site is structured well so the Adsense is showing totally relevant ads.

If your webpages are not structured well they will be showing ads that are irrelevant.

Just making this one change can get you more clicks as people come to your site looking for answers.

If you went to a blog in your niche and posted a comment about something in your niche and then someone clicks it, they have obviously clicked the link because they are interested in what you have said in the comment.

So, if your link goes to one of your webpages that is relevant to the comment, and the Adsense ads are showing the same relevant ads, then you are more likely to get the clicks.

Really, it is about structuring your site and pages well and then directing the traffic from any traffic source in any niche. Although some free traffic methods work better than others.

Just make sure you direct them to the relevant page.

But going back to the OP, like you said, best traffic for adsense is organic S.E traffic.

In my experience, I haven't found anything else that clicks at a reasonable rate (unless of course you're doing arbitrage, which is risky).

Yes - targeted traffic converts the best as well.

Think of it like this.

You need to buy a chainsaw - so what do you do?

1. Look in your local phone directory for a lawn mower shop that sells chainsaws. Find their address and then go down to the store and check out what they have.

2. Then you might go to another local shop that sells chainsaws and compare what you saw at the first shop.

Either way - you are looking for chainsaws.

Point number 1.
If you were looking for chainsaws - you wouldn't go to the hairdresser.

Same with internet marketing. You need to target customers that are looking for your product or for answers to their questions.

Point Number 2.
Get your website infront of as many of these targeted customers and get a number of other things right - and you should have success.

Finding targeted traffic is the first step in a number of steps. This is as simple as hanging out where your type of customer may hang out or optimising your site.

There is no doubt, targeted traffic is the best. You can get traffic from social sites but most of them are not targeted and might not give you good result. stay put with quality contect on your site.

Search engine traffic is best, but backlinks from related websites that have plenty of targeted traffic works well too. That would include article marketing, buying links, paid reviews, paid directories that have a lot of traffic (Yahoo, Business.com Local.com, etc) news releases and social video marketing to name but a few.

Create a blog on a topic you like to write about. Add adsense and register your blog with the various Blog Search engines.

Here is a great resource for that

Over 2/3 of my blog traffic comes from there and it not
orgainic search results.

If you use wordpress, get one of the social network

This makes it easy to share your posts on the networks.

If your post is good, you can get a flood of traffic.

I had one post that generated over 2000 visitors in less then
2 hours.

Hi,

There is no point in sending Adwords traffic to your Adsense page. A quick calculation:

$1 per click paid by advertiser on Google Search

therefore:

$0.50 per click paid by advertiser on Google content (Adsense sites)

$0.15 paid by Google to Adsense site

Even at 20% CTR you need to buy clicks at 3c or less. Possible but if CTR below 7% then equation impossible (based on above scenario).

You can't always worry about page rank. Make sure you get the targeted traffic by optimizing your page so the search engines can properly index and find you. People who are searching specifically for your product/services will want to compare and won't just stop at the first page of results.

This is not always true .

If your link is from unrelated websites , most of the time you will not get what is desired . But , if your link if from related websites which receive targeted traffic you can get good result .
