Hello! I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer on.
When setting up a Wordpress Multisite, regarding SEO, is it best practice to use domains or sub-directories? For example, do I want to set it up as site1.url.com vs. www.url.com/site1 ? Does Google favor one manner over the other?
Are there other considerations that also come into play when making this setup decision? For example, usability-wise, if I'm inviting people to have sites on my WPMU install, is the general population more apt to like one way or the other?
It seems like once you decide the way to go, you pretty much need to stick with it and ride it out.
