Which adsense ads are best? Text ads or banner ads?

The 300 x 250 text ads that blend into your website's color scheme are usually thought of being the best converting.

Text ads perform better - People are used to clicking on blue hyperlinks

Another factor is "Banner Blindness" This is when users ignore banner link info

I recommend text only ads. From my own experience I get much better results whereas banner ads tend to give less to the click.

It seems unanimous, but I'll throw my 2 cents in anyway. When it comes to Adsense, text ads far outperform banner ads in my experience.

No one can answer this question except you. You'll see differences between sizes, colours, placement, text, images, niche, and the content on your own website. You need to experiment and monitor the results. It also changes over time, what's best now might not be best in a few months or next year as advertisers come and go.

  Text Hyper Link ads always get the most clicks. Especially when it says "Click here" for more information. Banner ads tend to scare people into thinking they are about to be sold.
