Anchor Text in Articles

I know how to make the html code for anchor text. My problem is how do I out in my articles? Articlebase allows two links within the body and one in the resource box. The resource box is easy, but how do I place them in the middle of an article. I tried to put <a href="url">line text </a> into my article but when I hit the review button all I saw was tyhe html code.

    Some article directories allow URLs in the article text, but they do not allow anchor text. Not sure if this is the case with Articlebase, but it's a possibility.

    And last time I checked, Articlebase was a nofollow article directory, so the links won't help you anyway.

    Most article directories and maybe all of them don't allow you to insert link in the body of your article and they just let you to put your links in the resource box.

    Find directories that allow this, make a list and use those. For the ones that don't. use it in your author resource box. No need to go "over linking" in the articles. A maximum of 2-3 per article AND resource box is plenty. If promoted right, the links add up.

    Most article directories allow one of three link placement methods.

    1. HTML Anchor Text
    2. BB Code Anchor Text (mainly for forums)
    3. Direct URLs

    Always push "preview" before submitting to check your links are ok. Here are the three methods and how you would place them in an article or resource box:

    1. <a href="http://example .com">Anchor Text</a>
    2. [U RL=http://example .com]Anchor Text[/URL]
    3. ht tp://example .com
