Has Google Gone Crazy?

This may be old hat for some people or discussed elsewhere, but Google seems to have changed things again!
I went looking for my favorite restaurant online and saw Google's top seven box again.!?!?!
I thought this had been changed so that all results were on the front page and a box was discontinued?
Have been working OFFLINE with my clients for the past two weeks... Did I miss something?
In any case, does this mean i will have to start changing a few things AGAIN to help some clients with Google? (I know, I know, Google changes things whenever they want... Just seemed like yesterday they changed things.)
