Just got an email earlier from John today about his release of his new book "The Authority Site Adsense Guide" (about time)

Has anyone got their hands on this course yet?

I am not interested in the book itself but does purchase give people access to an Adsense forum?

After what has happened I don't think he'll be opening up another forum anytime soon.

Manual reviewer from Google sees both sites. Which one is more likely to be labeled MFA?

Manual reviewers generally only look at the index page and nothing more before rendering a judgment upon your site in about 30 seconds time. The number of pages doesn't enter into it.

That said, having a larger site with more long tail keyword targeting and good internal and external SEO will help you rank for more terms and make more money. However, don't think that just because you have 1000 pages you'll somehow avoid getting the site deindexed if, in their 30 second review, it matches the look of a common MFA template or if the reviewer is in a bad mood because his lunchtime chutney wasn't good.

The one that IS a made for adsense site.

Translation....number of pages has nothing to do with it.

Actually, to quote John (from the new book)....his first book was about "writing for the best click through rate" and his new book is about "content first, making money second".

I bought the first book and the sites I made following his example continue to make me money to this day. I bought the 2nd book last night and I'm half way through it. I can already tell that changing some of those initial sites to the authority site setup that he explains will help greatly with increasing my Google rankings and therefore, my earnings.

      Just my 2 cents worth.

John's Course seems to me much better. The $100k Blueprint doesn't go into as much detail as I would like. With Johns new book, a great deal of it talks about his experience's which are worth their weight in gold.

This is my personal opinion only but for $39.99 you cant really go wrong. Theres some absolute GEMS in John's new guide, especially when it comes to keyword research, 'siloing' sites and also writing content. Theres also a few design templates as well. I've been around the block a few times but the structuring of content part REALLY added a lot of value to me personally and I can't wait to write my content now (its actually going to be fun).

In essence though, both eBooks aim at one point and that is to look at the long-term and how one can build trust and authority. If you buy both you can use pretty much both books together which I plan on doing anyway.

I'm glad a lot of what was mentioned in these books is something I'm implementing after mayday and have seen some tabgible results.

      Onwards and upwards baby

I've just finished reading the new "Adsense Master Course" ebook. Several software programs are mentioned in the book. Has anyone bought or tried "Web Content Studio"?

You don't need to buy or get Web Content Studio. There is an online software that work the same like WST, if you like to use it like what John suggested in his ebook.

I've read the whole book and I think it's great. It might not be well suited for the newbie as he doesn't tell you exactly what to do and in what order. If you have some experience however, even if it's limited. This is a great investment.

      I also think it's a great book.

What I find remarkable though, is that he still builds his sites using XSitePro. Because that is so much going against the grain of, for example 100k Blueprint, or Andy Williams who he is admiring so much!

It's about creating an authority site in a niche you enjoy. Then you put out a lot of well themed content and enjoy traffic from a wide variation of keyword phrases.

What's wrong with using XSP? It's not the tool used to make the site that matters It's what you do with the site after it's live that determines your success.

As far as I am concerned, there is absolutely nothing wrong with XSitePro. I actually prefer it to wordpress for many reasons.

But both Andy Williams and 100kBlueprint are very firm in their opinion. According to Andy you can get twice the traffic using the same content and do the same backlinking work, simply by choosing wordpress.

That's why I bring it up. Twice the traffic is quite a number.

So I can basically double my adsesne income overnight simply by changing all of my sites over to wp? You mean I've been leaving thousands of dollars on the table because my sites aren't wp?

I've run both types of sites for several years and there is no difference. The reason someone tells you there is... is because they most always have something to sell. And the cycle just continues. It simply is not the platform that matters, regardless of what any so called guru tells you.
