great advice from the people above, pinging your often is quite important. if you have a wordpress site there are enough plugins that can do pinging automaticly. also make sure that your outsourcers did not sandbox your website.

Makes a constant effort of backlinks building. Do it regularly instead of just a sudden of getting a bunch of links which makes your site less natural on Google.

Depending on how competitive your keywords are.. It could take 3 to 6 months to get ranked..

Sooo easy man

Step 1 - Make keyword rich URL
Step 2 - Use wordpress seo tool to optimize website
Step 3 - Go find PLR articles
Step 4 - Spin 40 articles then post them only on your website
Step 5 - Submit your website to google and yahoo
Step 6 - Spin 20 articles a day then post them only on your website.
Step 7 - Do step 6 for 2 weeks everyday
Step 8 - After 2 weeks check, and you will notice you are gaining traffic without promoting.
Step 9 - Do step 6 for 6 months. (You should end up with over 3,600 articles)

After 6 months, then you can monetize your website or build backlinks/promote

Google doesn't link these spammy affilate marketers with 100ads on there page and building backlinks left in right in article directories, blog comments, etc. You think these people are stupid?

For building rank you also need every type of backlinks you could get , you need a mixture of them ,rank 0 , rank 1, no rank, and higher ranks for start building trust for your site. you could start building links bookmarking , article directory and also web 2.0

Yea stay away from link buying if this is an actual brand. Focus on building out unique quality content. That is, content that cannot be found else where. On the other hand, if it's just a spam domain then buy links for it.
