Advice Regarding Google Adsense

Hi Everyone,

i want to add the Google Adsense code my website (iphonewallpaperclub.com) to get some money out of my website right now i have just added the Buy Sell Add Banners but i didn't got any response yet.

But the problem is my website is just 3 months old, and my brother told me that your Domain should be minimum 6 months old to add Adsense.

Is it true or i can add Adsense code right now, BTW i already have adsense account, i just have to add ad-code.

    That is NOT correct. You do not have to have a 6 month old domain, in order to add AdSense. Your brother does not know what he is talking about!

      Please Warrior Forum Members i would like to have more Feedback on this case because i dont want to risk my Adsense account.

      There used to be a condition that you domain should be 6 months old, but not sure its still a condition or they have canceled it.

        Once approved, you can put your adsense code anywhere on sites that
        do not break any TOS. Never any such condition on domain age as far
        as putting adsense on it.

      Hey jhonsean, no problem! LOL!

      I was just referring to the question as to "when" to put adsense on.
      Why wait 6 months? If you want to start earning money now, do it now!
      If you want to earn money later, well, wait 6 months, then put it up.

      You should be getting traffic from various sources now. I rely on google for
      50% (or less) for traffic. I get traffic immediately from squidoo, blogs,
      twitter, forums.

      But hey, why would you want to earn money later? To me, adsense needs a
      little velocity building. During the first 6 months, you are allowing google to
      get a feel as to what your site is about and any performance issues. It can
      take 2 weeks for google to even optimize your ads. So there is really no
      reason to wait, unless your site does not conform to google TOS yet. That
      would be the only reason to wait. People have to realize that using adsense
      is like rolling a snowball. Once you kick it in to high gear (which could take time)
      it snowballs. The longer you wait to add ads, the longer this will take.

      If you feel your site is ready to be online, then it's ready for adsense.

      As several people have already said, you don't need to wait six months to put Adsense on your website. I don't care what that link you posted says. I personally guarantee you can put adsense on your site now.

      You are getting confused with getting approved for an adsense account. You said you already have an account. If that is the case, you can post your adsense code on any site you want right now as long as it meets the terms of service.

      The six months policy you are referring to applies to people that don't already have an Adsense account. You do not have to get approved for Adsense for every new website you setup. You already have an account, so the rule doesn't apply to you.

      I have had my account for two years now, and I live in the USA, so I can't say for sure if the six months rule in India is true. Regardless, it doesn't matter for you because you already have an Adsense account.

    @Porto Fino - If your website is properly promoted it should be reaching a level of maturity in months 3-4 as oppose to being perceived as brand new. It's all about traffic at the end of the day. There's little point in putting Adsense on a site that's NOT getting any traffic, but once you DO have traffic you should monetize it. Whether that's Adsense or something else, you should monetize that virtual real estate. You DO NOT have to wait 6 months.

      wait. You can make money on day one with your first visitor. Again, adsense on
      a site may need maturing. You need it on your site ASAP. Adsense is not about
      the amount of traffic. It's about targeted traffic. There's little point in waiting
      6 months. Except to not want to make money until 6 months from now. Again,

    You can request adsense account after starting your website and publishing about 20 article/pages to it. Also when your account approved, you can insert ads instantly to it and start making money through it. But i think that 6 months is not true at all.
