Question --- can you build multi-faceted pages using OptimizePress -- or are they all single-column sales letter type pages?

Sales pages are a foundation to my sites but I like to put up content pages, too, and I wonder if you can also have 2 and 3-column layouts on your site.

You can create 2 column pages and incorporate normal widgets in the sidebar and you can have different sidebars and display different ones on different pages.

You can set up as many pages as you want but you can only have 8 pages in the menu structure. But you can set up a widget to display all the other pages and categories so you can add content and show the link to it as normal.

    Hope this helps
    Cheers

      That's helpful, Mark, thanks.

Can you add menu tabs at the top of the home page to link to other pages?

        Two more questions about OptimizePress:

        1. Does it let you do tab-based navigation, say, at the top where you want to have links to some other pages.

        2. Can you have a blog page, where people can comment?

        Thanks for your help!

I am really interested to find this out myself too.
Is it a feature or a work-a-round sort to job to get it to work like a blog page.

I would love to see examples.

          Thanks

Yes you can create a blog page with comments which can be populated from WP and Facebook comments too.

Hi, yeah I tried static page. It just duplicates my front page to the blog then, its very starnge.

I just want my posts to appear on an inner page but it doesnt seem possible with this theme!

Yeah, that shouldn't be an issue.

    suso,

OptimizePress says on the sales page that you can use it for as many web sites as you want -- as long as you own them yourself. So, your license should be just fine for anything you want to do.

I know this is a really old post to bump, but its what came up in google when trying to figure out how to set the front page of optimize press to show blog posts, and I see that question is still unanswered... I figured others may be looking for an answer and since I figured it out I thought I'd share because it is kind of confusing...

Ok, what you do is create a page (I just made a page called home, with no content in it) and then set that to be the default page under in the settings -> reading ...

Then on that page set the template to use "Blog Template" and hit update... its a done deal... I mean its kinda the whole cool thing about optimize press is that every page on your site can have a different template if you wanted

Anyway, hope that saves someone else some time someday

The question was how to shos posts on ANOTHER page than the home page.

Using a static page as home page and an other page where the blog posts are displayed.

        Pleas help !

I know Optimize press is powerful.

But too many steps in process.

I would love to see a simpler to use version.
