Hello,
I just wanted to talk to you about my site. I've done article submissions, directory submissions, press releases, ezine articles links, linkwheels, bookmarking etc... a number of pages on my site rank on page 2 at the top, and one of my pages is #5 on the first page.

My website is www.thedoggroomingguide.com

my keywords i want to rank for are:
dog grooming at home
dog grooming tips
do it yourself dog grooming
DIY dog grooming
online dog grooming courses
bathing puppies
dog nail grooming
dog grooming training

as you can see, some of these keywords have my pages ranking very well.

I need some help to figure out how to boost it to the top? any advice or anything you can do to help me? any strategies or link building methods im forgetting that can help boost me to the top?

DO you have SENUKE.. if not get it...

Google only use two things to rank your site... RELEVANCE+ IMPORTANCE

How relevant is your site to the search queries...
How Important is your site on the web.. How many site on the web affirm that your site is important to the search queries....if you re not going to change any more content in your site... get more backlinks thats all there is...

      Do you have a list?

I have one project in the dog niche, not the grooming one but it may be worth talking. PM me if you're interested. I have a large list.

Analyze your competitors. What do they have that you don't?

I am not sure of a couple of things here, so I thought I would ask.

I don't know what your site is for if you don't have anything for sale. If I went to the home page of a site and it said , coming soon I think I would pass on to the next page in the search results.

Your blog link does not work. Try installing the blog on your own domain instead of wp dot com.

If you have a blog, on your site, you can write posts about your own pages and link to them. And then also do things with the RSS feed, those things might help you get more links and better rankings.

    Hello landonwiggs,

Well I just did the first thing I always to before getting into a niche and that is checking the market to see the buying patterns so I know what to expect before I get into it.

After putting "dog grooming" into Google Trends, you can see that there is ALWAYS a downturn in the last quarter of the year. Now sure when you started this or how long you've been doing it, but expect a downward trend at least until the start of the new year.
