I Guess A Pagerank Update Is Going On... Some Of The Web 2.0's dropped. For Ex : Viviti - the easy website builder. is nt Pr7. It was pr8 previously!

Whats it on your side?

    Hmm, I see it's 7. I think they're updating PR all throughout the week (Dec 25 - Jan 4). Many small sites are already complaining about their sudden drop in PR before the Christmas week started. I guess the whole update will take at least 1 more week, I hope.

    I've been seeing very small updates that occur every few days. They don't seem to have done a major update since April. For example, I saw smarty.net float between a 4 and a 7. But overall, they seem to be purposely making pagerank updates a non-event to the best of their ability.

    I will not vouch for this, nor do I have any idea if it is true or not, but i got this in an email from a seller of links. I pass it on in good faith and interpret it how you like:
    Google to do the Pagerank update on 31st Dec 2010. Confirmed byhighly reliable internal sources. Sources reveal that from now on Google will do a PR update only twice every year ( December End & June End ).
