When we do article marketing we spin articles to mass submit them.. Google penalizes for duplicate content and we got to take utmost care abt that.

    Well, then what about press releases? Press releases are the same, they aren't articles though. So when 1,000 copies are randomly all over the internet, I will be penalized?

      You're just after the link off the page but some people want the free traffic a high ranking article can bring. It's not a hard concept, if a lot of people find your article in the search results, some of them are going to click the link you put at the end and visit your site.

        If you are after the high ranking traffic then you will only submit your article to 1 article directory and a tool wouldn't matter. It is not like you can flood the results page of a keyword of 10 results of all the same article on different sites.

        Just submit that one site to ezinearticles since thats your best chance of ranking high and leave it at that.

          Right but you might have articles that are very similar but with different titles and keywords that you want to appear in multiple search results. If you're just submitting a bunch of identical articles to different directories to get the link then you're right. But you might have one article with the title "how to blah blah blah" and another article with the title "the best way to blah blah blah" and you don't want them to be similar enough to get penalized by Google.

    It is just not the quantity of links that you get .. You have to look at the quality as well
    Relevancy of the link source and the content quality surrounding it is assumed to be taken into consideration(although there is no concrete proof)

    This tool also comes handy when you want to rewrite an article elsewhere. Lets say you have two blogs that cater to similar niche , you may want to rewrite article and check for uniqueness
