Blog comment internet marketing is, perhaps, one of the most misunderstood types of marketing and advertising these days. You’ve simply to observe someone make a totally unrelated comment upon a blog post for them to spam their particular backlink to realize that a lot of people just do not have a good grasp of this procedure. Some others test it just once or twice before deciding it doesn’t really produce any traffic. These failures don’t mean the strategy is no longer working, but, it simply means most people have much more to discover. This is a step-by-step procedure you can easily use to make blog comment marketing more potent.

- Locate weblogs related to your enterprise or website. You can begin with technocrati, and you can also check out the Yahoo! Blog Directory. You should find 3 to 4 well-trafficked blogs that you’ll visit each day. Look for blogs whose articles inspire you to express something. You can also search for blogs on social media marketing web sites like Hub pages and Zynga.

- Create insightful, important, and on-target commentary. Make the comments non-commercial. You can either put your link in the signature or perhaps in the actual comment itself, but either way it’s smart to have that backlink visit a non-commercial part of your site-to, maybe, a section where you keep articles or your own weblog. So long as there are backlinks all over your website to the business oriented portion visitors will find their way there.

- Establish a regular regimen. You’re actually planning to become a regular member of the blogging site community. Many people do “drive-by” commenting, although that’s not especially effective. You should build a reputation. Since that reputation raises you may also come across your blog added to the blog roll, or perhaps find your own work featured as the subject of another blogger’s post.

You can easily find out many other methods for bringing in totally free traffic by taking courses in the form of videos, ebooks and also a software programs which can aid you to optimize the traffic entering your websites. You might, for instance, have previously experimented with blog commenting, but maybe you spread your efforts out across way too many blogs, or you didn’t carry out the task consistently enough to begin seeing real results. Commenting on blogs is a great way to get more traffic to your sites.

You are right. I find that many quality blogs get me quality traffic and great conversion rates! Also forum signatures and profile pages can be very effective. Just keep an eye on your Analytics account and once you see visitors pouring in increase your activity.

Just a question about this, you can't really use blog commenting to target specific keywords correct? I ask because essentially only your "Name" is the anchor leading to your site and a lot of blogs won't publish your comment if you don't use a legitimate name.

For example, say my name is John Smith, my comment would appear like so:

John Smith *this will be the link to mywebsite.com*
    {Comment Date}
{Comment} *a lot of blogs only allow plain text comments*
This would be great if I wanted to rank for "John Smith", but what about other keywords?

99% of my back links come from blog comments and they seem to work really well. The beauty of it is that you can use a keyword tool to find blog pages that have a high page rank, and then just visit them and leave your comment with a link to your site. Much easier than typing long articles which will only get you low page rank back links. That's just my opinion.

I will often try to write a thoughtful reply to one of the higher up comments (where there is a reply option). By doing this you can be more personal and as a perk, your comment will also appear at the top, even if you weren't one of the first to comment...

Just a handy tip, it makes your comments much more likely to get read.

Blog Commenting can bring a lot of referral traffic to your site, if you are making comment on a niche-related site and putting some value in your comments.

Yeah. Blog commenting is a powerful method to create backlinks. Because most of these pages are already indexed in Google. So we get a significant improvement of SERP. I use following methods to get high rate of approval from blog admins.

    1. Always try to make a question in the comment regarding blog post. So admin will approve my comment and he will answer. (Good technique )

    2. Adding some sources. Eg: mashable, bbc, cnn etc

    3. Mention other blog commenters name in the comment. Eg: @pet name

    Thanks

You can also use SEOQuake to sort the blogs you find by PR.

Here's how I find great high quality blogs (including .gov/.edu). This will give you an unlimited number of high PR, untapped blogs to comment on:

You need to have the SEOQuake plugin for Firefox installed.

This is free and can be installed from:

    https:/addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3036/

With this installed, you are able to check the Page Rank of any page or search listing.

SEOQuake can give you a number of statistics for each page, it will be set up to display everything from PR to backlinks when you first install it so I recommend going into the preferences and only allowing it to fetch PR.

You will notice a small SEOQuake logo at the bottom-right corner of the browser, click on it to enable it (it will light up), and click again to disable it (it will go black & white).

    Google Setup

Next, you will need to get Google ready to find blog posts, do this by going to the advance Google search:

You will then need to set the amount of results to 100 and type the following into the first text box:

The page should look like the screenshot above.

Here is the search string to use:

“keyword” "post a comment" inurl:blog name email website

Here is how it should be used:

    “keyword”
This obviously needs to be replaced with the keyword we are going for. For example, on a skydiving website, we would type “skydiving” for the keyword, you will also need to use similar keywords and synonyms to get other results around the same topic.

For example, instead of “skydiving”, I could use anything like the following:

    “rock climbing”
    “adventure”
    “skiing”
    “paragliding”
    “bungee”
    “jogging”

Anything which loosely relates to the main keyword or topic is fine.

    “post a comment”
This part finds all the websites that have the phrase “post a comment” in them. You can mix this up with “post your comment”, “leave a comment”, “leave comment”, or something similar if you are having trouble finding new blogs.

    inurl:blog
The text “inurl:blog” filters all results to show only those pages with “blog” in the URL. This is fairly straightforward.

You can change this to “intitle:blog” to get more results. This would filter all results that have “blog” in the title, rather than the URL.

    name email website
This section finds all pages with the words “name”, “email”, and “website”. This is to return pages that allow comments with the option of putting your website link in there.

    Finding Edu/Gov posts
The process is very similar to find edu/gov posts. Simply change the “inurl:blog” to “inurl.edu” or “inurl.org”

So the search string should look like this for edu:

“keyword” "post a comment" inurl:.edu name email website

    And like this for gov:

“keyword” "post a comment" inurl:.gov name email website

    The Search

With your SEOQuake plugin activated, click search.

Hopefully you will get 100 results on the page. You should also notice a lot of SEOQuake details below each search.

You will also notice the PR details appearing below each listing, and a “sort” bar at the very top.

When you first load the page all options will say “wait”, this means that you need to wait for the PR to load for each result. Once you check that all PR stats have loaded by scrolling down through the page, you need to sort by highest PR.

To sort, click the down arrow to sort from the highest PR:

    Checking the Pages

Now, all comments should be from pages which have a PR of 1 or more (some PR0 comments are ok but not too many!).

To check the pages, simply right-click each page that has a PR of 1 or more, and click “open in new tab”. Open all the pages and scroll down to check whether you can comment on them or not.

    Commenting

Check for other comments and their dates. You should only comment on pages that already have comments on them and they are within the last few months (older than that may indicate the webmaster is no longer checking and approving comments).

Use the provided anchor text in the “name” field, and the link in the “website” or “url” field.

However, if other approved comments all have a real person name in them (not a keyword) then make up a name to ensure the comment doesn’t get deleted.

Blog commenting can also be done on sites that are not related. The most important thing is using comments that are related to the post of the site.

When you are commenting you get to add your site into the registration box and this will create a back link to your site. Now be careful and use a name for registering because most of the better blogs will mark you as spam if you try and use anchor text instead of a name. (I will for sure on my blogs.)

Some people will click through directly to your site. The better the comment you are leaving the more likely this is to happen. So the rule is add real value to the site you are commenting on and it will improve the chance you will get people checking you out.

You should be commenting on the topics you cover on your blog and this gets you exposure to other readers that are interested in what you blog about. The more you are seen the more likely people are to see you as someone that know the topic and you are on your way to becoming a trusted resource.

So there are 3 advantages to commenting on blogs. Done right as part of your normal marketing plan blog commenting can help you build a following for your blog.

If you are commenting on a high PR blog, but the actual page you are commenting on has no PR, do you still get the PR "clout" of the blog in your backlink?

Also, it is my understanding that do-follow is important only if you are concerned with increasing the page rank of your site. So, if you are building a niche site and ranking for a low competition keyword and are only concerned about SERP (you can be #1 with a PR of 0) than do-follow is of no concern. If you are building an authority site and/or ranking for higher comp keyword, than more do-follow backlinks gains some weight.

Blog Commenting is the best method to increase backlinks. It can also bring lots of traffic & subscribers, if done effectively. The best blog commenting technique is to be the first one to comment on a blog post & then see the traffic coming in to your blog.

Hi, Blog posting was the effective way of building links or traffic. now it is not the case as in the web world spamy websites has become more, Google started taking comment submission as spamy trick it is now putting down all the websites which are using this tactic to build their links/traffic... so it not safe now to use this stratagy to gain the traffic.even though you want to fallow the same strategy choose limited reputed sites with high page rank.... But i advice you not to take any risk....
