Hi Warriors, just a quick question! I have just spend all day creating a webpage to build my list on there I am offering 6 eBooks (3 of which are my own) and a vid training series on making money online that I made myself! its a pretty basic page with a vid of me explaining what I am offering after people subscribe using the aweber form.
the thing is I have NO budget for Adwords or Facebook ads, can anyone recommend any other way of driving targeteted traffic for free, of course I am using Twitter, Facebook, and various forum sigs, but just wondered if there is anything else I could try.
thanks in advance!

Hey there, you've done half of the work! Now you have to get traffic as you know I personally only use Facebook because of its immense power. other than that you can promote them on forums, such as this. Even offer a free WSO or something.

    Just some of my thoughts

If you are already using forum sigs, then you will probably also be comfortable with blog comments. Find good blogs and post good relevant comments there.

Another quick approach is to post articles to ezine directories with your links in author's resource box. I launched a new site recently, using mainly this technique to start.

After that, once you are confortable with writing / ordering articles and can produce ones of better quality, try guest blogging. Offer a good article to a popular blog, and you'll get both a top-quality link and some very good exposure.

    Hope this helps!

One trick which has worked okay for me is using sites like linkreferral.com and trafficswarm.com. They get me a decent amount of traffic, though I am dubious about the extent to which it is targeted. LinkReferral is way better than TrafficSwarm for me - targets better and gets a better bounce rate.

Well for me it is always article marketing. All it takes it time and to know your products which I assume you do so I would definitely do it.

There is always more you can do beyond what you are doing.

In my traffic generation guide, I document 35 methods to drive traffic to one's website.

Only 7 of those methods absolutely require money to use. The others can be done for free or low-cost, depending on your desire to outsource or not.

A few examples include article marketing, forum marketing, press releases, social media -- and there is more than one way to crack that nut.

      Hi Phillip,

A very simple method that you may want to look at is joining up with question and answer sites such as Yahoo Answers or Answerbag.

There are three very good advantageous with question and answers sites:

First you get targeted traffic. If your site is about iPads, then only people interested in iPads will be looking at that question. So you will know that the people clicking on your links are genuinely interested in what you have to offer.

Second, the people on question and answer sites tend to be very “link” friendly. Which means your links will get a lot more traffic on question and answer sites than other sources. I’ve experimented question and answer sites as a source of traffic and I was very pleased with the results. At the peak, I was getting around 500 clicks a day. That may not sound like a lot, but you have to remember that this is very highly targeted traffic.

Thirdly, many small blogs and sites tend to repost some of the answers on their sites, which means extra backlinks and extra traffic. My experiment sites began getting a lot of random traffic from websites I’ve never heard of after a couple of weeks, simply because they reposted a question which I had answered and left my link.

To have a successful question and answer campaign there is only one thing you really need to do, give very good answers.

      Hope this helps,
      all the best,
      Devid

Or... simply use your proper keywords for SEO and get organic and targeted traffic. Create a lot of backlinks to your various pages on your site as well as think about creating a Link Wheel. This method can provide fantastic results.
