I am trying to get into adsense, and I am making a little chart of stuff I must go thru before trying to go into markets.

I am also trying to find a way to compute how much I could make, minimum.

Does anyone haev any formulas on doing this?

I was thinking Exact Match Searches x CPC x .25 (What google pays us) x .42 (#1 google listing) x .05 (CTR)

But my numbers seem far lower than what others are getting.

Any input?

    Exact match searches x .42 (#1 listing) * .01-.20 (Ctr) * CPC * .60 (google pays 60% not 25%)

That is the exact formula you need.

Brilliant. Thank you. What is the average ctr? 5%?

You know, it would really be nice if all we had to do was set up a formula and wait for the adsense money to roll in.

Does this formula require any work?

Unfortunately yes! It took me a whole 2 minutes to come up with it

Geez, now that I have copied the formula down you're saying I have to work?

I guess I will put it on my white board and see what I can add to the formula just to see if it will work any better.

Of course you know I'm being a little facetious, don't you?

You can't create a formula, way to many variables going on.

    1) On-page keywords
    2) Visitors country
    3) Personalized results, no matter If you have them turned off or not.
    4) Geo-IP that goes by your ISP location
    5) Image Ad vs. Text vs. Size of Ad
    6) Seasonal Ads
    7) Full moon (lol)

I think the best you can do is pick a niche that is expensive for customers & has a lot of competition.

    1) Education
    2) Loans
    3) Real Estate
    4) Travel
    5) Insurance
    6) Automotive
    7) etc...

Anything offline that cost a lot of money...

There is an article release by G regarding this, but i could not remember where. But you estimate the payment could go as 50% of minimum paid by the advertiser.
