Guess I am the only one answering! However, this post received some 148 views! Creating sub-directories is the best option.. Thus, mohulghosh.com/jurassic-park will get more value for the keyword Jurassic Park, compared with jurassicPark.mohulghosh.com ...

Sub directories and sub folders both have their advantages. Sub-directories describe what individual pages are about and sub-domains describe what individual sites are about. It is better to
use sub-directories as link juice which is sent to that blog is going to be naturally distributed to that main domain and to other sub folders under that domain.

Subdirectories are generally indexed quicker by the Search Engines however, there is waiting period for sub-domain. Web developers don't have to add and verify each sub-directory in Google Webmaster Tool. The link juice sent to the folder is distributed to the root domain and other sub-domains.

For blogs, I prefer a subfolder (http://www.xyz.com/blog/) because the link juice which is sent to that blog is going to be naturally distributed to that main domain, and other subfolders under the domain.
