Start by manually adding your site to Google, Bing and Yahoo. Create a site index and put it in robots.txt Create backlinks. You would see your site listed hopefully in 2-3 weeks.

Just make a robots.txt and sitemap, then go build a handful of backlinks. I usually get mine indexed within 5 hours. I actually just started working on a niche site earlier today and took a break and ate, came back and the homepage was indexed.

Ping your site. Submit articles to article directories & send some quality backlinks to your site.

Start building backlinks! Create an RSS Feed for your site and submit it to aggregators.

      Ping @ Pingler.com

Ping.fm or Onlywire.com for Social Bookmarking

The old fashioned route that I'll admit I still do (even though I submit all my sitemaps via Google Webmaster Tools)
      Add your URL to Google

And your robots.txt should look something like this:

      HTML Code:
      Sitemap: http://yoursite.com/sitemap.xml
      User-agent: *
      Disallow: /cgi-bin/

These are just a couple of ways. I would personally ping 200+ sites and submit my site to a couple hundred (maybe thousand) Meta Indexing/Statistics sites. Using SEO Fast Indexer and/or Scrapebox.

Try using Website Indexer. It can promote your site to some good sites where it is certain to be picked up by the bots.
