AdSense earnings less on the weekends?

Does anyone else experience lower AdSense earnings on the weekends? Or is it just me? (Please don't be just me, please don't be just me!) Perhaps people are in less of a buying mode? And at the same time, maybe the advertisers are paying less per click because they understand that people are in less of a buying mode?

    Not really.

Are your CTR & traffic lower on the weekend?

Do you post new content on Fri., Sat., Sun.?

Dang Well my traffic has always been a little lower on the weekends, but the CTR is about the same. Here's the thing though. Some of my sites that usually get around a dollar per click during the week only get like 10 cents a click on the weekends.

And no, my sites are all micro-niche sites with just a few pages of content that I basically add all at once. They seem to hold just fine in the SERPS though.

I have also noticed that. My traffic tops about 50% on Saturday and stays there Sunday as well and shoots back up on Monday. Drop in earnings is in the same sort of level, maybe 40 % less on weekends but I know it goes right back up on every Monday.

I think it would depend on the niche, I have a few sites orientated towards teenage shoppers which get slightly more traffic over the weekends.

Our site, which is law-related, is very consistent. Monday is the peak traffic with a gradual decline to Thursday, somewhat larger drop on Friday, and much lower on weekends (roughly 1/5 of Monday).

CTR, on the other hand, is consistently higher on weekends, maybe 50% over weekdays. Holidays tend to be more like weekends.

Yep - mine is lower as well. I just figure that ppl are out doing things on the weekends. Also - the holidays are bad as well.

My traffic drops off over the weekends about 10%, then picks up with the peak normally Wednesday. As far as ad revenue and ctr, this is normally higher on the weekends.
