Backlinkwatch.com gone for good?

I got in the habit of vising backlinkwatch.com for some of my backlink checking.. but it hasn't worked for days! The site won't even load. Anybody have any info on this? Is my favorite backlink checking source gone for good?

    I would use Google's webmasters. This has helped me see my backlinks as well as Yahoo.

      I was too using Backlinkwatch.com but not now. Because many times it is showing overloaded. So, I am using yahoo site explorer and working well. Check it, I hope it will work fine also for you.

    I tried a long back and wasn't working even at that time and since then I forget to use such backlink checker. I mostly concern is traffic towards the site.

      I also used the same backlinkwatch.com for checking the backlink purpose but now it's down and wasn't working. Now a day, I used "Open Site Explorer" and its working greatly for me.

    Agreed,

    Use to be a good way to check out best backlinks, but with backlinks being a thing of the past for most sites, even a negative now, I guess we all have to look at new strategies, I know I have thanks to Panda and Penquin attacks.

      Recessionproof, why do you think backlinks are a thing of the past? Surely quality backlinks from a related niche are worthwhile?

        I agree, quality backlinks from authority sites are worthwhile for ever. Backlinks and social media pulse are two eyes .
