PR Update Today ?

I noticed it too.

Here's my PR changes:
- one site from PR0 to PR1
- another from PR0 to PR2
- one took a drop from PR3 to PR1

Many other sites of mine maintained their previous PR.

I think that's a PR update in a long long time. The last time I saw my sites increase or decrease in PR was more than 6 months ago.

I was so sure that update was going to come over christmas. I'm a bit disappointed at only getting PR3 though, especially since google webmaster tools shows 1,528,457 links to my site, pfff miserly gits. Weird really, I know that PR doesnt mean anything as far as rankings or traffic go these days, but for some reason I still crave the green bar updates

Thats just a crazy amount of links, good on ya.

I had a jump on a new site a couple of days ago from n/a to 0. Maybe its different just going up to 0 though.

My webpage got a page rank for the first time. It went from 0 to 2. I am excited. I'm told it means nothing, but hey it put a smile on my face.

My homepage on my lawyer site fell from 4 to 3 but a bunch of subpages went to 3 to.

Yes one of my sites jumped from 2 to 4! Woo hoo!

To be honest I know it does not mean that much but is still awesome to see.

I have got a wordpress blog attached to the site so will write up some content and see if I get better rankings because of the page rank increase.

My page rank of 3 on one of my sites is now 0! Oops!

This same site has gone up and down over the last couple of years and I cant work out why. Never mind.

The PR update started a few weeks ago and has been filtering through to sites since before Christmas... and it's going to continue for a while longer so don't get bummed out if your PR hasn't increased yet, there's still time left.

The previous PR update was on April 3rd 2010 and was the only one in 2010, there had been at least 5 updates a year in the prior 4 years, I take this as another indicator of Google's depreciating the significance of PR, along with their removing PR display from the toolbar.
