Hello,

I am doing mass blog commenting using Scrapebox, the results are shocking. Before i started posting my site was on the first page rank 7. But now its on the second page.

I have done mass blog commenting and the links which are found on the blogs are highly spammed already..What should i do now to get my website on the first page again..also what is the correct way to get the right blogs and blog commenting.

Thanks for your help in advance!!

note: I am using 8 proxies, decaptcha service and a 1.2M blog list

If you're worried - stop ****ing spamming and wait for Google to re-adjust your rankings. More likely than not you'll come back ranking a couple places higher than before.

What do you expect? To go up in rankings everytime you create a new backlink? Not going to happen - deal with it.

Build your links at a steady rate maintaining your link velocity and you'll be fine. Once Google digests all the links you've suddenly thrown at it you're likely to be even higher ranked than you were before.

      Thanks Jody,

I think i got your point of "steady link building"..The problem is that the list which i am using presently is recommended by scrapebox support guys..I posted a few links only till now..about 200 links are actually found till now..but the sites on which my links are found are highly spamed..i think thats the reason my site ranking has gone back..

I have always believed in content (in any form articles, PR)..and that works well for me..but i have ruined the link quality of my site using scrapebox..

If you really think this is true then why don't you take the #1 site and build spam links against his site?

Is there really such thing as a bad link?

I say no - just links that have less value then others.

I think others are right in saying that google is just shuffling you around after finding these links and when the dust settles you will be ranking better then before.

You didn't do anything to hurt your site. Just be patient and keep building links.

If you could harm your site like that, everyone would be spamming links at eachother trying to screw up the ranking of competitor's.

Google is continuously evaluating the sites in it's index so a drop in rankings isn't really that surprising.

Maybe you tipped some "scale" of spammy links in relation to the other types of links? Are you doing any other kind of link building? Perhaps adding some quality links in will bring you back up?

If it was just from using scrapebox, then like wordpress_seo says, you could just do that to your competitor so it makes more sense that it would have something to do with traffic patterns or your overall linking activity or maybe the pages above you simply have gotten better links than you now and moved up ahead.

I think you are right, people would probably be more interested in spamming other's site if this was the case..

      Thanks Lee,

I am not doing any other kind of link building presently, and the total no. of links i have posted with scrapebox is around 2000-3000 but the links found are not more than 200..So, its only 200 links!!

So, whats the conclusion should i continue with the link building or should i go for content writing and get the position back..

I would build more links of a different type. Articles, press releases, social bookmarking (I never would have said that before I read bay37's post in his link above - LOL) maybe see if you can do a guest post on an authority blog in your niche.

But, I guess it kind of depends on the profit potential of your blog and if it is something that you would grow or just a quick hit and run micro-niche. Not sure if you would want to spend all that time on something that will only earn you a few bucks a month?

I have done a lot via footprints method!!..I have also written a well spun post..that was really excellent and niche specific but i don't know the reason the post never got submitted..I have posted on more than 500 blogs Niche specific and that was last month and when i checked for the links on the site i submitted but couldn't find it..that means the moderator has not approved the post..

I don't do automated backlinking, except using one blog network, and I must be the only idiot on there that actually posts quality, very slightly spun, articles. Everything else I do is manual, and ALWAYS involves leaving relevant, thoughtful comments or helping people with a problem.

Sorry, but blog-comment spamming is incredibly annoying for anyone who owns a blog, and that is a lot of us here. I wouldn't use it on principle, even if it got me to the number one spot every time.

Hmm, let's have a little sample, shall we:

I've been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
Hi I love this comment and it was so informational and I am gonna save it. I Have to say the Superb analysis this article has is trully remarkable. No one goes that extra mile these days? Bravo!!! Just another suggestion you shouldinstall a Translator for your Global Audience .
My spouse and i got now glad John managed to conclude his analysis using the ideas he received out of the web site. It's not at all simplistic to simply choose to be giving for free strategies which often a number of people could have been trying to sell. Therefore we keep in mind we've got you to give thanks to because of that. All the illustrations you have made, the straightforward site menu, the friendships you give support to engender - it's got all extraordinary, and it's aiding our son and our family believe that the article is enjoyable, and that is especially pressing. Thanks for all the pieces!
...it would make me laugh if it didn't get me so annoyed...

Scrapebox is a very powerful tool and can get you in trouble quickly... If you use it the wrong way.

Harvesting and blasting is the worst possible thing you can use Scrapebox for IMO. Scrapebox is best using for digging and finding and reverse engineering... Yada yada yada. I've built up a list of about 8k AutoApprove blogs (WP, BE, Movable, etc.) I'll shoot some spun comments out to a few of those every now and then, but that's pretty much the extent of my use of the Fast Poster.

Don't rely on Scrapebox for all of your comments. I have thousands of backlinks coming from all over the place - DoNofollow, Low PR, HIGH PR, edu/gov, Articles Directories, Comments, etc.

The best backlinks you'll ever get are the ones you build manually. Use Scrapebox to find high PR DoFollow places you can physically visit, read the material, and leave a genuine post... Reverse engineer your competition for christs sake!

I keep 150-200 fresh, working, low lat proxies loaded at all times. You want some proxies you can get some here for free. Public domain proxies... Have NEVER had an issue. I harvest mine own using ProxyFire and test lists offered by other sites ALWAYS giving them links and credit when credit is due.

          CHEERS!

Oh, I almost forgot... Make sure you're running the Malware scanner before posting any links... The last thing Google wants to see is links to your site from a possibly Sandboxed/Blacklisted site! That WILL kill you!

With all due respect, 1.2M sites is a little extreme for blog comment back links. If there was ever a reason for a slap, that would be it. Whatever it is you are selling or promoting, probably isn't worth 1.2M back links. No offence.

      HTML Code:
      http://www.ugg-store.cc/ --> 20k backlinks
      http://www.jordans.cc/ --> 38k backlinks
      http://www.uggshoes.cc/ --> 20k backlinks
Use Scrapebox to find some AutoApprove blogs. I suggest Scraping one site at a time:
      HTML Code:
      site:www.ugg-store.cc
Remove duplicate URLs --> Backlink Checker (load URLs from Harvester)

When finished "Download" to a .txt file (ugg-store.txt) (may take a while - it's not frozen just wait longer)

Clear out Harvester and import that .txt you just saved --> Remove duplicate URLs --> Blog Analyzer (load URLs from Harvester) --> Remove bad/catcha blogs then transfer back to Harvester.

Open up Malware and Phishing Filter (load URLs from Harvester) run it --> When complete Save URLs to Harvester.

Transfer URL's to Blogs List for Commenter.

Do a test post with a test site. Comment (something Generic). Website (whatever... joemama.com). Emails (generate em).

Start Posting. Check Links when complete. Those found are most likely AutoApprove. Save Links Found to a .txt (AutoApproveCheck.txt) and start the whole process over.

Take the root of one of the AutoApprove blogs you commented on and scrape it:
      HTML Code:
      site:www.autoaproveblogo.com
Remove duplicate URLs --> Blog Analyzer (load URLs from Harvester) --> Remove bad/catcha blogs then transfer back to Harvester --> Open up Malware and Phishing Filter (load URLs from Harvester) run it --> When complete Save URLs to Harvester --> Transfer URL's to Blogs List for Commenter --> Post --> Check --> Save.

This is my method of finding AutoApprove blogs. But I'll also scrape HIGH PR, popular TLD's find alive, active, dofollow, high PR posts with comments open and manually post a good comment. <-- That's where the chedda is :p

I'm going to go ahead and assume you're talking about my reverse engineering the backlinks strategy?! Because you are.

That's kind of funny actually. Did you know that the smartest and richest man in the world took someone else's idea/creation and reverse engineered it to make his own...
