Google is Changing...?

This might be sort of a weird question, but it seems like Google is changing. Lately I've been seeing a lot of people's rankings fluctuate and a lot of people are getting de-indexed.

Also, it seems as though its harder to get indexed now?

Just my 2 cents...

What do you guys think?

It does not mean google is changing. That is how it is.

I'm going to be building a new site this coming week so I'll let you know how the indexing goes! Never had a problem before, so I'm going to assume that if I do everything like I always have that I won't have a problem next week.

Almost all of my targeted keywords for my most recent site (2 1/2 months old) have broken page ONE! Finally! So I can't complain about that... All the content on my site is original, well written, well laid out (flows good), and is genuinely information people are looking for... So it's about damn time in my opinion!

Pretty strong competition that I'm up against, so I'm happy with the results I've seen thus far.

Nothing new. Google changes it's algorithm on regular basis. This is called Google dance when it's a major update.

Hmmm. Maybe changing was the wrong word.. haha

But, its weird, mmy site isn't getting indexed and a few of the sites I submitted my websites to are getting ranked! For example, my page on websitevaluebot is ranked 200 for my keyword.

    Maybe I'm just being impatient.

Google changes it's algorithm very often. Google try to make itself better and it will waste a lot of time of a lot of people. But it's not new.

My site gets indexed almost immediately. Longest it has ever taken for a page to get indexed or updated was maybe 1 day MAX.

Indexing hasn't changed - we launched a jewerly blog 5 days ago and it was cached 3 days after the first post went up, privacy policy.

Just make sure ping list is a good one.

Like someone said Google is constantly changing. They are constantly tweaking and adjusting their algorithm which determines how sites are ranked. Their stated goal is to provide the best possible search results for queries.

There will be more changes with Google ... currently employing 24 000 people .... Will they be ''nr 1'' forever ? Competition is moving forward rapidly ( Facebook et all ) .... radical changes ? Exit Larry Page/ceo enter Eric Schmidt ... curious to see !

    Bro,
I didn't see any changes in Google. Google Page has been updated and the algorithm is changing consistently. Fluctuation of ranking is the sign of update of PR. But it doesn't mean that Google has been changed or changing.
