I'm new to the Warrior Forum and have been reading with yall for quite some time. I'm working with MFA for the moment and have some decent results, am making about 10 euro a day with 4-5 websites.

What i haven't fully expanded on yet is creating backlinks. I read that article directory's are a good way of creating solid backlinks. If i read correctly, you can use articles you already have on your website and small adjustments to them and submit these to article directory's. However i find these directory's and howto website ending up above my website. So i am basically creating my own competition.

Am i doing something wrong by doing it this way? Should i not use the targetting keywords as in the title so these websites do not get a nice article with the keywords in the url?

I couldn't find a post in the forum that answerred my question and i would love some help .

Thank you in advance

Yes, you can use articles that already in your website. And in Addition, you can also create your own unique article so that you could have some advantage.

Article submission to various directories would create solid backlinks to your site. But the traffic depends on the quality of the content you distribute. I used to submit 30 new articles to various directories per month and it works for me for getting steady traffic over the times. Instead of making small adjestment I would recomment to rewrite each article so that it should become unique and fresh.

Thanks for the responses! What about the websites ending up above my website though? Im using the exact keywords in the title which makes them end up in the url. This makes them end up above me in the Google results in some cases. Should i not use the keywords in the title then or does that make the backlink less strong?

Hi, first of all nice work making 10 euros a day as a relatively newbie to IM. As far as your question is concerned, the reason Article Directories are ranking above your site is because they are enjoy more authority, higher PR and trust as far as Search Engines are concerned.

And Since you are using article syndication for backlinking purpose, do not use your target keywords in the article, or in other words do not optimize the articles for your website's target keywords. Instead write articles on other related, long tail phrases. And then link to your website from the article resource box using your keywords as anchor text.

This way, you would continue to gain backlinks from article syndication and even some traffic, however the ranking for your website would also improve as a result in the long run.

    Hope that helps.

Yes Indeed, submitting articles to article directories is one of the best ways to get one way backlinks to your website or a blog. You not only get the backlink from the article directory itself but you will also get backlinks form the websites that decide to use your articles on their websites and usually these sites will give you very targeted traffic as these sites are usually in the same niche as you.

Yes you should definitely use the target keyword in your title as well as in your article several times, but not too much. Keyword stuffing is not good. In the article, make your target keyword bold a few times and also make the target keyword as a text link at least 3 times in your blog article if possible. If you are submitting your article to Ezine Articles they won't allow links in the actual article but you can use bold target keyword text which helps. You can place your affiliate link in the authors box below the article. The search engines love target keyword text links. It is highly relevant and shows the search engine that this is a relevant article and will likely rank on the first page of Google fairly easily.

From my experience, I can say that, it is better to get unique articles and post them on article directorates and get backlinks as well as these will drive referral traffic too. If you have no time, you can outsource it for low-cost. As well as, blogging too help you to get quality backlinks.

Submitting to the article directories is very helpful. I would use articles that are "unique" in content and use the long tail keywords in your articles that are not already used on your site. I write my own articles and I also use an article creator software that makes completely "unique" content (no duplicate content). Hope this helps
