    key-word.com is better for search engine but not for direct visitor. soon they will forget your URL. so keep your main domain keyword.com or keyword.net and use hyphen on your sub-domain page.

      My keywords are - example keyword

      examplekeyword.com is already registered

      but

      examplekeyword.net and example-keyword.com are free!

      Which one is better ?

    I would go with keyword.net. It's much easier to rank that way. You can worry about the user experience and branding when you construct the inner pages of the website. Often times, if your keyword is very niche related, they're going to remember the domain name anyway.

    I would always avoid a key-word.com as this looks very unprofessional. Choose something like mykeyword.com

    What you'll say about the ".org" domain in the same situation ? Is it equal to the .net domain ?

      With or without "-"...google ignore "-",but for users is better without "-"
