How can you tell if a site/page is indexed? Just by finding it in a google search?

    Just copy any url and paste into google.com you will see the url in google if it is indexed.

    That's correct, you only need to type in your Domain URL, and it will retrurn any page that is indexed. If it doesn't return your domain or a page within your URL, than you are not indexed yet.

      In Google, type

      site:mysite.com

      And if it returns your pages, it's indexed.

      There's also Andy Black's index checker for checking multiple sites at once.

    Do as John Williamson suggested, with the site: operator and then google will show you "1-10 out of 53 results" or something like that.

    This means that Google will have 53 pages of your domain indexed.
