autoblogs = adsense ban?

A few days ago I had a talk with a friend of mine. He told me that he's now banned from Google Adsense, obviously because of his tons of autoblogs.

Im not sure about that.

1. Can you get banned if youre using Autoblogs?
2. If yes, how can you monetize autoblog without adsense?
3. Which plugins/tools would you recommend as autoblog software?

    Banned if you don't do it "right" --- I've never had an issue, but I wrote my own phrase and word rewrite plugin to avoid total duplicate content syndication. Also, all my autoblogs provide the owners of the feeds a simple way to remove their feed.

    Maybe just lucky, but I have replaced the Adsense ads with Chitika Ads for a test on 5 autoblogs (automotive industry ). Surprised that Chitika's CTR is pretty good and pays well.....not as good as Adsense, but what the hell. I've never heard of anyone getting banned from Chitika for using autoblogs.

    I use various plugins in concert for SEO, automatic linking etc. I tweaked some plugins, customized WP a bit, and wrote the re-phrase plug (Global Synonym)

    If you are squeamish about using Adsense, then go Chitika or some other alternative.

      Google is on the warpath to reduce crap results in the search results, and autoblogs will get caught up in the super smart algo. I tend to do 20 to 40 pages of unique content, then get some syndicated content to add on a daily basis after that. So far so good.

        Yeah. You can add some unique content anytime you want, but it's not that necessary when it reads so much differently than the original content.

          Yes if the content is not unique then surely you will be banned by google.Opt you can slightly edit the contents before posting...

            Unfortunatly that's simply not true. there are lots of news aggregation sites that have nothing but duplicate content on the sites.

    That's pretty much what I do. Unique, unique, unique. You can't go wrong w/ that - even though it takes a while.
